Stayed for two nights camping. Fantastic old school style campsite with great facilities and stunning views over the rocky ridge.Owners could not have been more friendly and helpful. Will most definitely stay again and go for a Walk directly from camp. :-)

Planned a trip to Coed Y Brenin to sample some of the best trails the UK has to offer and booked the weekend stay with Cae Gwyn Farm. A very warm welcome was received from Sue and Dave and were shown the B&B barn which was perfect for our needs, loads of room, clean and the beds were comfy after... More

A great campsite just up the road from the fantastic mountain bike trails at Coed-y-Brenin forest, you can easily cycle there and save on parking fees. Good hot showers, bike shed, wifi, small kitchen and drying room are great added extras that make all the difference after a hard day on the bike, especially if you're unlucky with the weather,... This campsite is a great spot for Coed Y Brenin. It is less than a mile to cycle on a main road to the centre, but I have not done it as its up hill on the way back! and after doing 6 hours on the trails i dont fancy doing yet another up hill on the way back! The... More

A campsite that I will return to. Its a basic camping field, with great views and a warm welcome. There are plenty of facilities, more than I would expect from this type of place. The showers are powerful which is a must after a hard day of mtb riding in Coed-y-Brenin forest, with the visitor centre about a mile away... More

Originally booked to stay in Feb, however just before our trip the area was devastated by 100mph winds. As CYB trails were largely shut due to fallen trees and Cae Gwyn had no electricity, Sue kindly offered to defer our booking to another weekend, so we chose the early May bank holiday. Very geared-up for outdoorsy types (with us being... More

This is one of those campsites that you know you will pay a second visit to. Dave and Sue are very accomodating and make you feel like part of the farm. Dave even supplied me with a nut and bolt to fix my car before setting off home (life saver). Facilities are spot on and very green. Great morning view,... More

A lovely B+B with stunning view in a great location. Sue and Dave couldn't have been more helpful. They even towed us back when our car broke down 4 miles away. Thank you so much for a great stay. We'll come back.

I camped on the farm for 3 nights whilst cycling in Coed Y Brenin and nearby. The area is stunning and the farm is lovely - complete with adorable lamas! There's a shower, toilet and drying rack in a heated room for anyone needing to warm-up and dry-out. There are also plenty of more basic showers and toilets in a... More

We stayed in the camping fuels with friends in the camping barn while we tackled the trails at coed y brenin. Excellent campsite facilities including very hot power showers and every detail thought of such as plenty of clothes hooks in the showers, bike storage and a bike wash point. The barn was the best we've stayed in with a... More
