Our stay was excellent. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were fantastic. The owners were lovely ladies and nothing was too much trouble for them, very helpful :-) The views from their farmhouse were breathtaking and their garden was brilliant with the model train track...I truly recommend staying here, a beautiful location with outstanding rooms and service with a smile... Lovely people, really good bedroom and great place for a short brake. We stayed in this really nice place fro two nights over the weekend. The Ladies who run this place where lovely and our bedroom was also really nice. It is perfect location if you want to explore parts of Wales.

We stayed here in order to run the Coed Y Brenin trail Half marathon. The hosts were very accommodating allowing me to prepare my own porridge in their kitchen, before normal breakfast time. The room was clean warm and the bed very comfortable. This is a great location for exploring the area. I would return.

We stayed in the Blue Lagoon for just one night, which was more than enough. We arrived to a broken glass panel in the door , this summed up the room. Although clean, beds were uncomfortable, the shower needed a cubicle as the room didn't dry out and the decor dated. The place was run with a school teacher's attention... More

We had an great time and the the venue worked really well for us. The warm welcome excellent breakfasts and use of the top cabin for group meetings all made it a weekend to remember. Indeed, the group felt we had had a truly special time of "food, fun and fellowship". Our Tim, in particular, loved the amazing garden railway.

We stayed at Old Mill Farmhouse in April for a weekend as part of a group of thirteen from the Church we attend. For our group, this was an ideal venue with welcoming hosts, flexible accommodation to suit our needs, good cooked breakfasts and comfortable beds. We were fortunate to witness the model railway running before we left giving the... More

Started out as a nice, quaint place - but there are things that make you (the customer) feel inferior. The owner (there are 2 ladies who own this property - but I only ever saw 1 of them during my 3 months stay with them) phrases things in such a way that you understand that things will be her way... Margaret and Penny smashing owners who welcomed me having escaped from a terrible B and B locally ! Warm room , comfy bed , plenty of tea/ coffee/milk and all very clean . Offered a choice of room . Only stayed one night as I was passing through but would stay again if needed to work in that area .

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our visits. My husband and I love biking and walking and so the Old Mill Farmhouse is in an excellent place to enjoy the southern area of the Snowdonia National Park. Margaret and Penny always make us feel welcome and provide an excellent tasty breakfast. Secure storage is provided for our... More

Lovely surroundings, lovingly converted properties, lovely llamas (yes you read that correctly) and most of all, two lovely hosts. Perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area. If you're a walker, cyclists or just touring the area this makes a great stopover for a night or even a few days. You can go north to snow donor, Porthmadog or the llyn... More
