We visited the Rhiw Goch twice at weekend, as we were staying in the log cabins nearby. On both occasions the staff were friendly, welcoming and served great beer that is well kept. There was a glorious log fire burning and whilst the place was a little out of date, it looked like they were undergoing a refurb as there... More

I had the pleasure of eating my first hot meal of the year here. The carvery was THE best I've ever had! The beef was so tender, lovely chicken and a huge selection of seasonal veggies! It was delicious. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you.

Had a family wedding ar Rhiw Goch recently, we were there for the day and evening party, and Archie and the staff were amazing. Food was served hot and plenty of it during the day, and the service by the staff was perfect. The night party was great, buffet food and plenty of it. Hat's off to you all, every... More

This Really is the best Sunday lunch around, the meat is always cooked beautifully and plenty of it! Loads of choice of veg, crispy roasties and mash to die for! Service always spot on too, and set in such a beautiful spot, the views are amazing ☺️

We dined here last night, a treat before coming home. We stayed in site at the bottom of the lane in a log cabin. We did not stay at the pub's lodgings. We ordered the lamb burger which was soooo tasty. My husband ordered the salmon which although he really enjoyed he said the hollandaise sauce had split a little... More

The quality of service at the inn was excellent, even in busy periods. We found the staff very attentive and would bend over backwards to help. The food was very good, as we ate there most nights and tried most things on the bar menu, i honestly couldn't fault it at all. The prices are very reasonable given that it... More

Group of us visited last week, food very poor - fish pie ?? More like fish soup, runny and overpriced. We were all pretty hungry by the time it all arrived via poor and slow service. The pub was pretty busy and the staff fairly scarce. Overpriced and could be so much better given location and what is, on the... More

Given that there is literally no alternative for miles the Rhiw Goch is well worth a visit. We ate there on three consecutive evenings and were more that satisfied with our meals from a typical pub grub menu which were of good quality and proportion. What was noticeable were a number of weekender hooray henry type customers who were loud... More

Brilliant restaurant. Fantastic food. And for the person who said that the spagetti bolognase is £12 or so, it's actually £9.50 and it's a very big portion. The bar staff never swear and never give free drinks to people. Would recommend this place to everyone.
