Rooms were a decent size and clean. Was quite busy as was over Christmas period, however rooms blocked out most noise. Staff were welcoming and nice. Shower pressure in a bit poor, but to be expected for an old building. Breakfast was generous and has a decent variation of foods. If you are tall, watch out for the low beams... More

When to our Christmas party at this venue this weekend. The 3 course meal was excellent value and all eight of us enjoyed the food from the starters to the desserts. My choice of breaded brie, roast beef, and chocolate torte. Was excellent

Was disappointed with an evening meal here. Had roast vegetable lasagne with garlic bread. The plate wasn't hot and so the food cooled quickly. The garlic bread had a congealed pool of butter on. The Eton mess for dessert however was delicious having the addition of blueberries in. I feel the restaurant area could benefit from a more subdued light.... More

hi thank you for your comment I am sorry your plate wasn't hot but all plates for main meals are kept in a hot cupboard so I don't know how this happened but I will make staff aware of checking tempertures of plates before going out. I'm sorry you weren't happy with your garlic bread you should of sent it... More

Have no idea what sort of hotel it is, but enjoyed a very well priced Sunday lunch there this week. Didn't like being in the back room on our own because no atmosphere, but the food was lovely and plentiful. We are dining there with a large party in 3 weeks so wanted to just check it out. It is... Just stayed the one night here as travelling back from South Wales, however didn't realise what a pretty village the hotel was in, other might have stayed longer to explore the area further. Room was booked at a good rate and we had a comfortable stay. Had an evening meal at the hotel and that was nicely presented with good... More

This is a hotel on the top of a pub, it only has six rooms - but the food is great and the staff are very friendly. It's also set in a very nice friendly village. We had a room a the front, that was a little noisy but ok. The room was a large double, had tea & coffee... More

Went here for food with my mum & fiancé whilst on holiday staying at the lodges down the road. We were impressed with the choice of fresh home cooked meals on the menu all at reasonable prices- I was very impressed with Vegetarian selection too & opted for the veggie home made lasagne. My mum went for the sirloin steak... More

Booked a meal for five people and a baby and we specified a high chair. Waited an hour to be seated, High chair was not set up, only a booster seat not suitable for a baby, no one willing or able to help we eventually set up the high chair and proceeded to clean it as it was dirty. Starters... More

in response to your review the booster/highchair is recommended from the 6 months plus it has straps and a tray that can be fitted to the front of it like any highchair and we have never had a problem with it before and as for the other highchair that you helped yourselves to without a member of staff having time...
