While recently on holiday in Solva we ate at The Cambrian twice, both times we found the food very good and the service excellent from the staff, we didn't bother with starters the second time because the servings were very filling, I had the lamb curry and wifey a fat lamb burger on the 1st occasion starting with whitebait, the... We stayed here while walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We were totally surprised and the quality of the bedrooms and ensuites. The dinner in the restaurant was the best we had experienced in Wales, so make sure you book on weekends. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Like many other reviewers stated don't be put off by the exterior of the Cambrian Inn. Stayed at Solva for 4 nights last week at a cottage, dined at the Cambrian twice, absolutely amazing !!! We had the welsh steak and guiness pie, fat lamb burger, fish and chips and the prawn cocktail was the best I've ever had. Waitresses... More

We had a late booking and it was late to eat, but we couldn't resist! Prawn cocktail was excellent if you are craving the old fashioned style with rose marie sauce.Fish is wonderfully fresh. Both the cod and the hake was outstanding.

Solva is our favourite place to visit, If you are looking for a base from which to walk the Pembrokeshire coast or just relaxing weekend this the ideal spot. We have eaten at the restaurant a number of times over the last two years but had never stayed overnight at The Cambrian before. The rooms, which have recently been refurbished,... More

Wow! What a place to go for food. We didn't stay here as we were staying in a b&b down the road. A group of friends and I went for the weekend to Solva and the meal was a treat for our first night there. We booked in advance, and when we got there we had a drink in the... More

Just returned from one night staying at Cambrian Inn. We stayed in the Skomer room which had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee on tea tray. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. More of a restaurant than a pub so was quiet!

We made a last minute booking for one night at the Cambrian Inn and stayed in the the room called Skomer (which is the one with the red coloured bedding). On arrival, parking was excellent directly outside the B&B. The room was spacious with an en-suite. The coffee making facilities were a nice touch. Booked a table in the evening... More

Staying over night on our way to North Wales, we were thoroughly happy that we had found this place. Our room (Skokholm) was towards the street, but there isn't a lot of through traffic, so we had a good sleep. The bathroom is extremely small, but provides everything you need. The dinner was very good, creative, fresh produce & the... More
