We visited on a Saturday for an early evening drink and hoping that there would be something on the menu that would mean I wouldn't have to cook. The beer and the cider were good, the bar staff were very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the only veggie option on the menu was risotto. A... More

For the last couple of yours my friends and I have spent a night at The Stackpole Inn just before Christmas, in order to join in with the local festivities. We have always been met with genuine warmth from the owners and staff. The food is excellent, locally sourced, prepared and presented to the highest standard. The rooms have a... More

We spent the last night of our tour at The Stackpole Inn having first walked the spectacular NT Coastal path route in the afternoon. The Inn is tucked away, old, quaint and very charming. The accommodation is in a converted barn next to the Inn. Four identical rooms, simply but very nicely decorated in a modern style, spacious, wooden floors... More

What an absolute gem!!!! Was on our touring route & saw the name in rough guide & needed feeding. Arrived too late for lunch but they accommodated us with wonderful food. Very friendly. Lovely establishment, fabulous wood burner topped up even as we left. We will be back & if the accommodation & main restaurant menu is anything like our... More

Visited to watch Wales v Italy game, overall good atmosphere in general, decided to order from lunch menu, titled as choice of "rustic rolls" should however come with health warning, not advised if you've any dental problems, they were rock hard! Paid 9 pounds each for a horrid cheese and ham roll served with frozen French fries. Will not be... More

excellent pub B&B in this fairly remote area of Wales. The rooms in the converted barn just across the small car park are big, well furnished and comfortable, The food and drink at the pub are very good, staff are very friendly and helpful - the guide to local sights provided by the owners was really useful, and helped us... Terrific size bedrooms, friendly staff and good value food using local ingredients, and close to terrific walks. The real ales are excellent and I discovered they had Gwynt y Ddraig strong Welsh cider in barrels - beware! We will stay again - one tip is that the wonderful and unique (I use the word in its proper sense) St Govan's... More

We had booked a table for 4 weeks before we actually ate here. The pub itself was very pretty however the service and food seriously let the whole experience down. We arrived and were greeted well, which is fair enough, got our drinks and sat down at the table with menus. It took the waitress a good 15 minutes to... More

You know when you start wishing you hadn't bothered? We hit it at about 45minutes. We saw several other tables about us waiting too. If I had ordered a steak or something that needs cooking to order I would understand. But 2 soups and a chilli would be sitting in a pan waiting to be put on a plate? Someone... More
