Two thoroughly enjoyed evenings at the Stackpole Inn. Food consistently fantastic from the Welsh lamb to the steaks and fresh fish. Service very friendly and accommodating. Dog welcomed. Great pub quiz and fantastic atmosphere from the locals and visitors

Utterly charming Inn. Scrupulously cared for, wonderful atmosphere, very helpful and courteous staff, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented food, both dinner (fresh fish to die for) and breakfast (thankyou Magic whose stunning photographs you can also enjoy through out the Inn). Our room was prettily appointed, very comfortable and clean! The garden was delightful, pots and troughs and brimming over,... More

Had lunch recently with my husband and two very young children. It was nice to have a bit of sophistication even if we did have our little ones. Really enjoyed the meal and the children's menu was a bit different. Efficient service and lovely surroundings. Only issue I had was the baby changing facilities in the women's toilets. Very outdated... More

We stayed at the Stackpole Inn for one night and found the room to be very well laid out and comfortable. The evening meal was good and the breakfast excellent. So the not so good? Well, the shower was a bit of a challenge to get running hot (that was probably to my lack of familiarity with instant showers). The... More

Popped in for an early afternoon lunch on a sunny day (rare xperience this trip). Staff were friendly and helpful and food was well prepared and presented. Ate in the garden which was a bonus. Overall an excellent pub and well worth visiting.

Went to the Stackpole Inn for an early lunch. Staff, very friendly, prices reasonable and food was lovely. My husband had the lamb which he said was really tasty and I had the walker mans lunch (aka ploughmans). I really enjoyed this however, a traditional pickled onion wouldn't of gone a miss and a little more cheese to compensate for... More

The owners are most interested in the restaurant, which is excellent and quite a gathering place. However, the rooms were comfortable and large. This is a wonderful place for a stopover if you are hiking or as a base for exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Binaries as part of a large Familly holiday, just stopped for lunch however based on this my brother in law decided to wxtend his holiday by a week and use here as a base. The food was wonderful, pretty expensive however the pub make a point of sourcing locally and making fresh and you could tell this through the quality.... More
