We live in Abergavenny renouned for its eating places! We have eaten in the majority of these establishments ! None could compare with the amazing food served at the Stackpole Inn when we visited for Sunday lunch. The staff should also receive an award for their excellent approach to diners.

Had Sunday lunch there , we were greeted at the bar with a smile and made us feel comfortable . Food and service was excellent and would definitely be returning without hesitation !!

Lovely spot but lacks a certain amount of care.Owners were conspicuous by their absence. Really nice accommodation with very friendly and genuinely helpful staff. Nice restaurant with really good food. Two minor comments, could have done with a power shower with less fluctuation in temperature and could have done with more surfaces to put 'stuff' on. Don't let these put you off
