The owner was really friendly and gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit or scenic routes. Breakfast was lovely, with amazing eggs from their own chickens. Best nights sleep I've bad for ages. Thank you

Lovely welcome from owners, Carol and Martyn. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The views were good. Food and service were excellent. Would recommend the Waves across the road for a meal and stunning views.

Stayed here for two nights in August with my boyfriend as we were attending an event nearby. After a seven hour drive we were pleased to receive a warm welcome from Caryl, a cup of tea and the wi-fi password. Our double room and en-suite bathroom were both very clean and comfortable, with views over the garden where we enjoyed... More

We stayed on the Sunday of Bank Holiday and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. The very friendly Caryl met us at the door, offered us a coffee and then showed us to our room. We had booked the double room which had an en suite. The bed was and the room nice and airy so we... We booked the b&b the night before and as it was a bank holiday thought we would struggle to find somewhere. We decided on happy acre as it was close to a pub and bus station. When we got there we were greeted by the land lady who offered us a cup of tea which we declined and were shown... More

We stayed at Happy Acre for a night. Would recommend as it's in a good position for walks, beach and seaside town visits. Caryl & Martyn were very friendly and our breakfast was great! We visited the pub across the road for tea- not recommended! Poor customer service, heated, pricey frozen food and noisy kids. Next time we will try... More

An overnight stay just off the coastal footpath. Warm welcome, clean room, comfy bed, hearty breakfast, good location for beach and cliffs (10 mins walk), good value. Evening meal in nearby pub. Altogether an enjoyable experience.

We stayed at Happy Acre for a week at the beginning of June. There was seven of us so the house was 'ours' for the week. The house is very comfortable, all the rooms are lovely, clean and the kitchen has everything that you could possibley need. The pleasant walk to Manorbier takes about twenty minutes, and once you are... More
