...just in case it gets too popular. I wrote a review last year that said simply 'stay at The Webley'. If anything my impression of this hotel is even more 'reinforced' by our stay a week ago. The food was even better, the spotless apartment (I chose an apartment as it has level access and I have mobility issues) was,... More

Matchless view of the Teifi estuary from the hotel and its extensive grounds. At the height of the holiday season, one would not expect a lot of personal attention; however, nothing was too much for the staff who met our special needs e.g. early supper before theatre; v. late breakfast the following morning. No ordinary pub food, but grourmet menu.... More

Relaxed, friendly. Great location and excellent food. Nice clean rooms. So peaceful and properly cool in that it Is not self consciously trendy. Breakfast was generous and not too early. Some reviews say that the hotel does not look good from the outside, I don't understand this, it looks perfectly nice, just not swanky and pretentious. The best.

Despite the look of the outside this was an amazing experience. All staff as well as the owners Simon and Sandra were friendly, efficient and helpful. We had been told to expect good pub food here but the meal was 5 star restaurant quality!. The room was clean and well-eqipped and over-all it was a great stay.

We were a family party of 5. Everything was at minimum very good, and lots of things were excellent, including the scallops, the goats cheese bites, the mushroom risotto, the willing service (even though busy) and the music. So nice to find a genuine service ethic with enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring staff to whom customers are more than pound signs. In a fantastic location overlooking the estuary and near the excellent beaches of Poppit Sands. The hotel is a bit tired in places but does not pretend to be something it is not. The food, service, welcome and just plain friendliness of the place leave any shortcomings in their wake. This is not a place to languish in your room,... More

Stayed here for five nights and were very pleased with all aspects. Beautiful location, room comfortable and very clean with a lovely view, food generally good - particularly the seafood, excellent breakfasts. Would particularly like to commend the helpfulness and friendliness of Simon and Sandra who work so hard to make this small hotel such a success. Nothing was too... More

We really enjoyed our stay, the location and waterfront seating were a great bonus and one of the 2 reasons we booked. The other was the online photos of the guest rooms. Sadly our room did not look like any of the photos - very beige and souless without any views. However, despite the initial disappointment it was spacious, light... More

We stayed for just 2 nights and would have stayed longer but for pressing engagements elsewhere that required us to return home. The hotel location is to die for with a lawn area for drinks right on the estuary - one of the best places I've been in the UK for simple relaxation. Throughout our stay the staff and owner... More

We had a four night stay at the Webley. The room looked recently renovated and was everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom light and clean. We had such good food on the first night that we ate there every night from then on. Breakfast was as much as we wanted, full Welsh, pastries, croissants, cereals... More
