This is a friendly, welcoming beautifully situated hotel. Simon and Sandra are wonderful hosts. The food is excellent and the views inspirational. I've stayed several times and will continue to enjoy this gem on the Aberteifi.

We pulled up at this place as we drove to poppit sands, the tables on the grass next to the sea are very inviting and look great- id say this place is fantastic for a drink but no more. The food hygiene rating of 2 displayed in the window filled me with fear upon entering but...... I continued! We all... More

Simon and Sandra deserve all they can get for the manner in which they run this lovely, out of the way “Gem” of a hotel. Quirky and unusual but always great service, good rooms and stunning food - mostly locally sourced! Keep it up both !!

Stayed one night at the Webley in early October. We were blessed with fantastic weather and when we arrived we were able to sit on the green across the lane from the hotel and feet away from the estuary enjoying a relaxing drink. Our room had the best bathroom we have seen - in fact it was bigger than the... More

With families who lived in this area and sons who were at Welsh Universities we thought we knew Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire very well over many years and had several times visited St.Dogmaels but this was our first trip to Poppit Sands and we are so glad we found the place and the Webley Hotel. Our drive from Herefordshire was easy... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his quirky little hotel, great views and the food was very good, yes it needs a little updating but don't let that put you off, a really nice place to stay & very good value for money

Hole in the shower wall with mold in the grout, long dark hair around the room and in the bed (my wife is blonde), tiny room crammed with oversized ikea furniture, stale food at the breakfast buffet, and Rihanna blaring in the empty bar downstairs that we could hear in our room until bar close. It seems to be a... More

Stay a couple of nights a few weeks ago. Very friendly staff and management. The views from our room were stunning, although the room needs a considerable amount of TLC. The restaurant food was very good. Only three stars because of the room, it really needs a good coat of paint. Overall we had a relaxing few days in the... More

Food excellent, had usual room which is clean with a super bed for comfort. Breakfast is mega and dinner better. Views over the Teifi estuary are stunning and to sit and look out over the estuary removes the stress of the day

...just in case it gets too popular. I wrote a review last year that said simply 'stay at The Webley'. If anything my impression of this hotel is even more 'reinforced' by our stay a week ago. The food was even better, the spotless apartment (I chose an apartment as it has level access and I have mobility issues) was,... More
