We have eaten here many many times over the past 15 years or so and I have to say it gets better and better. Staying at The Celtic Manor one of the best things is that you can dine at The Newbridge - they drive you there and pick you up! We had booked dinner by phone and the person... More

Gorgeous location. I have stayed in every room now and I love it. Clean, cosy and quaint. Amazing staff who do remember me (and do a fab prosecco and blackcurrent)the food was great. Yes it's a little drive away from the Celtic manor but well worth it if you like peace and countryside. My only gripe is breakfast could be... More

My wife & I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary today, so booked Sunday lunch here. Altogether a fine experience; no faults whatsoever. Staff were very professional in the execution of their respective roles and most obliging and friendly throughout our visit. The food, though not cheap, was of an excellent standard; well cooked and presented. If I wanted to... More

Why is it beyond a hotel owned by the Celtic manor chain not to have a decent wifi signal so that one can actually work in your room? It kept dropping out and the signal was so weak that using the internet was incredibly slow - a better signal in the main hotel but useless in the rooms in the... More

We drove past here on our way home after staying a night near Usk. We wanted two coffees to sit out in the beautiful surroundings by the river. Lovely garden with nice garden furniture. There was a live band playing jazz music when we walked in. Great sound in a very classy setting. The young lady behind the bar said... More

my husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, had originally looked at the Celtic Manor ,no rooms available but were offered accommodation here on a dinner bed and breakfast deal. All the facilities of the manor were available for our use, but it is a 20 minute drive away . The hotel is in a very peaceful, pretty location, the... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend as a surprise for his birthday. I believe there are 6 rooms, we stayed in one of the four-poster rooms on the top floor. This review is quite picky, but I wanted to be honest because I paid quite a lot for our night's stay. Room was lovely, bathroom was excellent and the elemis products... More

After leaving the busy cities of Paris and London our stay was a welcome quiet retreat! What a beautiful drive in. Very picturesque. Our room was large and very nice. There are only 6 rooms and we stayed in #3. Having a shower and tub was very nice after having a small shower in London. The breakfast was amazing!! Fresh... More

My partner and I stayed here recently for an overnight break away. The staff were warm and welcoming and their overall attention to detail was faultless. The rooms are in a separate annexe located in the car park, they were tastefully decorated with lots of thought and character including wooden floors. The bathroom was also tastefully decorated with a roll... More
