Last weekend we discovered this little gem of a B & B whilst planning a trip to see friends nearby. There are several units here and we had the Snug for one night and prices are very reasonable for what you get. This is a great rustic B & B and if you want peace and quiet this is the... More

We arrived at the Granary and there was no one to meet and greet - no prior warning that this might be the case. Eventually found a scribbled note with a mobile number which we rang and got a rather unfriendly response. The quality of the décor/furnishings in the our area was shabby to say the least. There was only... More

My partner and I recently stayed here at the Granary for a week, along with our little dog Roxy. We found the experience very positive and relaxing. The granary is up there with the best for b&b accommodation, being clean, cosy and friendly. The breakfast is freshly made to your liking, served in a lovely farm house kitchen setting. We would both... More

We stayed a couple of nights in The Snug ( beds, kitchen and living room) with our 2 dogs, while we were visiting family nearby. This gave us the flexibility to come and go when we needed to and be independent, but benefit from our hosts's excellent cooked breakfast. The Granary is in a quiet, pretty location overlooking the hills,... More

Brian, a great breakfast maker and hospitable man. We received a very warm welcome. People were friendly and the location is excellent for a quiet & restful evening. The food was perfect and served hot. Gonna bring family and friends the next time around. two thumbs up.

Brian made my teenage son and I feel very welcome. Breakfast was copious and a chance to ask for walking tips for the day. Above-and-beyond host who took us to and/or collected us en route so that we could walk the Usk Valley Walk without carrying all our possessions with us. Self catering facilities meant we could feed ourselves and... More

Our experience staying at The Granary was nothing but a positive one. Located in the beautiful Welsh countryside side, our stay felt more like visiting old friends due to the kind, relaxed reception we were given by the owners. If you're looking to relax, have a good night's sleep and eat what was, in my opinion, one of the best... More

Nice place in very peaceful area but if over 6 foot will struggle with the beams. Not much to do in the area but cabs cheap to and from Caerleon or good alternative for golfers playing Celtic Manor. Price very competitive and charming host if a bit over chatty at breakfast.

A last minute decision to visit South wales for the Eater break was made and we were recommended by a friend to stay at the Granary and it did not disappoint. We were staying in the Den, which had a double bed and a single bed on a mezzanine level with the living are and kitchen facilities and bathroom on... More
