A beautiful location with lovely walks (information willingly given at reception). The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, spotless and quiet. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented and the cellar is stunning. The staff are helpful and cheerful and the kitchen garden a delight. Really relaxing and spoiling. Lovely.

I called in here for a quick drink after reccieing the Three Castles walk & was charged £3.70 for a pint of lime and soda. Outrageous! I am bringing a party to do the walk on Saturday, but we will not be calling here afterwards. They cannot justify these prices.

Airy, comfortable, spacious rooms, individually decorated with artwork and antiques (especially liked the shoe-last-toilet-roll-holder!). The Bell Inn is situated in beautiful border country and lies alongside a river surrounded by low-lying hills.
