Stayed overnight for Abergavenney food festival. About 10 minutes drive from park and walk, in a very picturesque setting about a mile off Pontypool to Abergavenney main road, so pretty well placed in that respect. We stayed in a cottage across a cobbled courtyard from main building. Welcome, accommodation and breakfast, which was set around a large communal dining table,... More

Chose this B&B to be close to a wedding reception, it was a perfect location. The room I had in the barn was just perfect to get ready in and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, thank you to Hannah for being a great host, with the added entertainment from Cerys and Hattie!

We had a lovely overnight stay in this picturesque location. Great walks, easy access to Abergavenny or the Brecon canal (for cycling), and a couple of country pubs in walking distance. Nothing at all we could fault about our stay and will book again.

Had a lovely stay at Ty-Cooke Farm. It was a last minute booking on a busy weekend and they managed to fit us in with no problems. Room was warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable, all local produce where possible, especially enjoyed being sat round big family table, very sociable, got to have a chat and get... More

We stayed one night only and we were given a room in the barn. The room was nice but up on the first floor over us there was a family with two children, and all kept moving and bouncing until over 11 pm. Everything was amplified in our own room, probably due to the wooden floor. The main building had... More

We visited South Wales for the first time over the bank holiday weekend, and stayed at Ty Cooke Farm. It's in a very peaceful location, part of a fully working beef and sheep farm. The owners were very warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a very nice, comfortable double room overlooking the very well-maintained, pretty gardens and... More

Spent a night here and enjoyed the wonderful house, location, and peace and quiet. Very comfortable with a great breakfast. Would return without hesitation, lovely family. Within walking is a good pub which serves a good evening meal. What more would you want?

Great place to stay, farms are the way to go, the hosts are wonderful and the other guests are great as well. Welsh breakfasts turn out to be the same as English breakfasts, great way to start the day.
