First time we have been here since it was taken over. Went here for evening meal with friends First impressions were that it was nicely done inside with thoughtful and inspiring decor. When it came to the food though it was very mediocre to say the least and I am surprised at the positive reviews on here praising it. However... More

We stopped at The Beaufort on Saturday lunchtime and were lucky to get a table after a short wait at the bar. We ordered the 2 course for £10 special. The food was great and the service was spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch in the busy dining room with a very pleasant atmosphere. Well done Miguel & team.... More

Beaufort Arms is perfect for a lovely dining experience with great fresh food from their meat and fish counter display units with also an excellent wine list at sensible prices the management and staff make you feel most welcome looking forward to revisit soon. I wish Miguel and his staff every success for the future

We as a group of two couples visited for Sunday lunch, as expected from Miguels previous exploits it was a warm welcome and very enjoyable event. You never feel rushed and nothing is beyond them (except for toffee sauce lol) A must visit when out and about in the area!

we had heard fabulous local reviews about the set menus, so booked for NYE. The food was a little bland (scallops and tuna both had sauces which lacked seasoning, and were not as had been described by staff) and one meal had to be sent back as it wasn't cooked as required. This is a shame as one main course... More

Just the two of us decided to try this coaching inn as we have heard it has a new owner and when we walked through the door we were very impressed with the changes already made in such a short space of time . The brasserie has been transformed as has the reception area. We sat in the lounge area... More

We arrived without any expectations, but was very impressed with the service and food. Two cources for ten pounds. Very good value for money. Toilets need an upgrade though. Very basic. We recommend the fish and pork loin. .

We booked a 3 bed apartment, £400 for 2 nights over the New Year, After climbing what could only be described as a slippery, steel fire escape we entered into a small apartment which would not look out of place in a 1970's MFI catalogue including the artexed ceilings. Small bedrooms, one double, one single with no wardrobe, a lounge... More

Lovely selection of affordable wines, and a lovely set evening meal for £15. The calamari and the tortilla were lovely starters and the salmon and the skate were delicious. I cant wait to try the tapas on a sunday evening with a iced sherry. Staff are friendly and helpful, snd the new decor makes it look more spacious.
