A little bit of Paradise This is one of the most exceptional places I have visited any many years. Living in the Caribbean I can totally vote for Staniel Cay Yacht Club The hospitality and service is truely superb. Staff are friendly and very eager to please, food is superb and this Yacht Club runs very professionally.Compliments on keeping the... More

I have been to Staniel Cay numerous times over the years. It has finally lost it's quiet charm. The bar is now crowded, the docks are packed and the fuel line is quite lengthy in the afternoon. The airport remains closed with no evidence of any work starting and the ride from Black Point is very dependent on the weather.... More

Hi Louis - thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. We are sorry the Club didn't meet your past expectations for your visit. We have definitely become more "well known" and you were here at the end of June, the absolutely busiest time in the boating season, so the Staniel Cay area was full of visitors. For... More

I visit the yacht club every year -- it's probably my favorite place on earth. The staff are genuinely warm, the food is great (try the fresh catch) and I really enjoy traveling around in the skiff supplied with our room. As of right now, the airport on Staniel Cay is temporarily closed. I thought I would include some tips... More

This was our first time to SCYC. We stayed 5 nights in the Orange cottage and did the meal plan and the 13ft boat. I had been reading trip reports for years and finally had a chance to go. My biggest reason for going was all the trip reports I read said it was a tropical paradise with beautiful secluded... More

We went with our 6 year old and it was a great family adventure. My little girl is ecstatic with her time exploring a plane AND yacht wreck, feeding swimming pigs, snorkeling with nurse sharks and rays and just having a nice, relaxing time together as a family. Weather was perfect in April.

We really had no idea how awesome our trip would be. I surprised my girlfriend (stole her passport and told her to pack light but to pack for a beach vibe)...well we were both surprised by how awesome it was. If you read a negative review on here, forget it and book it...as long as a cottage is available. We... More

My husband and I holidayed to Great Exuma for our honeymoon and took a full day boat trip which included stopping for lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club. The grounds and dock area are just beautiful and extremely well kempt. The bar area of the yacht club is what I would consider as a tourist to be 'authentic Bahamian' -... More

Let me start off by saying that I have visited the Exumas 3 times. This was my first time staying on Staniel Cay, and I chose to stay at SCYC. The staff are very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. The food from the lunch and bar menu is average. The dinner meal for those staying at... More

We traveled by private plane and the airport was closed by the government so the resort had no control over that and did try to accommodate for transportation by ferry from the nearest island airport. We had to get our own transportation or wait for hours for the next shuttle but it was worth it when we got to the... More

We stayed two nites and just got back. It was fabulous. The rooms were very nice s we stayed in the Blue and the Key Lime cottages. The food at the yacht club was beyond compare. Try the lobster, biggest ever for $42. This included a soup, salad, lobster, veges, and dessert. Wow, and the breakfast french toast and pancakes... More
