I cannot say enough good things about the staff, accommodation and diving. It's everything a scuba diver could want and then more. The food is fantastic, the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is warm and friendly and their are sharks on virtually every dive. i will be returning ever year.

I was here at the same time as Jason H, and I can only echo his comments, but perhaps not as eloquently. While it's not a sparkly marble and glass cathedral honoring recent architectural styles, the rooms were very clean, and very much in keeping what you would expect from a family operation that prides themselves on customer service and... My wife and I just returned from a week in the Out Islands and we stayed at the Riding Rock Inn while diving. While not a five-star resort, Riding Rock has the kind of rustic homey charm we love. Clean beds, great meals and friendly, accommodating staff made the hotel a wonderful base from which to dive daily. The dive... More

Date on review is wrong - no way to change it I have been going to Riding Rock for diving since 1979. My first visits were with diving companions who were there for the outstanding dive opportunities with first class service. When I had children other priorities meant there was a gap of many years before organising for the whole... More

This is a dive resort - and a damn good one! World-class dive operation, housed in a comfortable, rustic lodge, managed by a tremendous, friendly and competent staff. Not much else to do on the island if you don't dive or fish - but if you wanted to disappear for a time, this is a good place to do it.... More

Once again, Riding Rock has come up trumps :) Their dive operation recognises the different abilities of people, and caters for all of them. Our party had everything from dive vets with 500+ dives, to someone on her first dive holiday, but Captain Bruce and Divemasters Hogan and Liz managed to give us sites that kept us all happy. The... rustic and basic, but good value for serious divers. food was excellent and convenient as a buffet for breakfast and lunch. two dives after breakfast until about noon, a late lunch, brief rest and afternoon dive finished in time for cocktail and dinner. beautiful ocean front setting and short walk from the marina. literally at the end of the airport... Tha gang from Durango we just returned from a weeks diving at this wonderful Resort. Miss Michelle greeted us upon arrival at that point and from then on were treated like family by everyone there. Captain Clay motored us out on each dive where Divemaster John and Bruce led us to some fascinating underwater exploration. Thanks to Miss Peaches for... More

Just returned late yesterday from a week-long stay at the RR. The staff here is great, from the boss, Michelle, down to the maids and maintenance guys. They also served some of the best meals I've ever had a dive resort, and I've been diving since 1972. Captain Bruce and divemasters, John and Betsy, were terrific. I like to go... More

We spent two weeks at Riding Rock and enjoyed the diving immensely. Bruce the captain and John the divemaster were attentive and lots of fun. They made sure we had as much variety in divesites as possible. The swim throughs and the coral were beautiful. The large grouper were super friendly and so were the reef sharks. They joined us...
