I've stayed at the "P 'n P" for a couple weeks every year for around 8 years. I love it. It really is "the" place to stay on Exuma, if for no other reason than Doc's poolside bar and Glen's bar. If you like Nassau, or Paradise island, or casinos, or being pampered, etc., then this is definitely not for... more

If you are a couple looking for a quiet and romantic get away, this is it. The complex is showing its age but that is part of the charm. In the room that we had, I could literally lie in bed and look at the water change colors outside of our sliding glass doors to our balcony overlooking Elizabeth Harbour... more

The Bahamas Outer Islands have always been favorites of ours. Each one has a personality of its own. Exuma is no different. Having said that, I must now point out that there is a distinct difference between "island time" and being completely ignored. This is the first time my husband and I felt we were a bother to our hotel,... more

Stayed only one night as the accomodations left a lot to be desired. The staff was only somewhat friendly and the resort was in need of a renovation. Our room had no view of the water, headboards were falling off beds and none of the linens matched. It was the type of room that I'd expect to pay no more... more

Exuma does not have the shopping/commercialism as in Freeport or Nassau. With approx 3,500 residents -- much smaller population...virtually "glitz-free." Club Peace & Plenty is a small hotel (33 rooms, I think) situated on Elizabeth Harbor (no beach). Small pool at hotel. Stocking Island is a 5 min boat ride across the harbor (FABULOUS beaches). Grocery store within 5 min... more

We have stayed at the Peace and Plenty two or three times over the past few years. We’ve been there with a few different groups of people, and everyone is always very happy with the hotel. Some of our friends brought their kids (ages 4 – 15). It’s definitely not a place to drop your kids off at the pool... more

This was our first taste of the Bahamas and we chose this island purely by chance to see some of the real Bahamas. Our stay preceeded a stay at Sandals near Nassau and we did want to see what island life is like away from the relative luxury which lets face it could be anywhere. It was a culture shock... more

Club Peace and Plenty was a great place to overnight while enroute to Long Island, Bahamas. The Bahamian Airlines are so unreliable that we built in an extra night to cushion any travel delays. The hotel was clean, priced in accordance with the local fare, and the bar was an excellent way to meet the locals and travelers in the... more

Exuma is an island where the pace is slow and relaxed and joyful..Club Peace and Plenty is a reflection of this island attitude...just what we needed to slow down from the pace of the states. The rooms were kept clean and we received everything we asked for with a most pleasant attitude. The free ferry over to Stocking Island was... more

The staff here couldn't be less helpful. They treat the guests as if they are interrupting their day. Not one time in my stay or other guests stay did anyone other then the bartender go out of their way to make us feel welcome. I goto the Bahamas a lot and this is the last place I would ever go... more
