Perfectly situated, surrounded by bonefish flats, Peace and Plenty has clean comfortable rooms with waterviews, and a main house with a restaurant, a common room with honor bar, poker table, TV, fly tying station, old books and mementos, and a wraparound balcony, with gorgeous water all around. It has a family-run feel; Robert and Karen welcome you personally and keep things in tip top shape. Allston the chief guide makes sure fishermen are happy and well taken care of, and Magnolia runs the office and makes everyone feel welcome on land. It's at the far end of Exuma, not to be confused with two other Peace and Plenty properties. Neither too expensive nor too cheap, it delivers a wonderful experience for one or two fly fisherman per room to stay in a nice place with a comfortable bed, no hassles or nonsense, just friendly and easy. We caught more than a dozen bones, none huge, but we saw some big ones. I've been twice now, and will go back year after year. more
