This place is really off the grid-- No website, no email- Just a local phone number that rings in the restaurant. My brother and I were looking for an inexpensive lodging option in downtown georgetown, and other than the peace and plenty, this is it- the Two Turtles Inn is closed. Not having rented a car, and departing from the marina the next day, we needed to be able to walk everywhere- the bank, straw market (great place for souvenirs!), grocery store, bars, and restaurants.
It is not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked very well (!!) there was satelite TV, and a clean mini fridge - all for about half what the Peace and Plenty costs. There were two full size beds, pretty comfortable with clean sheets. There is an attached diner on the property that is very popular with the locals and marina crowd-- breakfast is the best and most authentic in Georgetown, serving "sause" A breakfast stew of either chicken...
