I spent more than a week with this family--they were great. There were some pretty non-paradise blunders (e.g. weird decor, toilet overrunning) but a big Carribean price. I was recently on Cat Island and we were planning on a stay at The Bridge Inn in New Bight. We have stayed there before and enjoyed the small (and inexpensive) family run hotel and restaurant. We would do it all over again. Cat Island is safe, friendly and beautiful island that is still relatively untouched by mass development and commercialism.
