For the price it is okay. The room is large enough but the plug in the sink would'nt come out and there was no hot water. In all fairness we were offered another room, but we suggested we use the marina shower instead which was fine. Breakfast is not included and very expensive for what you get. $19 for 2... More

The town of Fresh Creek is basic but really gives you a taste local Bahamas. This hotel is basic but the staff is friendly and the food is good! Most the rooms offer a good view of the harbor. I enjoyed my stay.

I flew into this place not knowing what to expect. Tired ? Perhaps a little last year but poor.....it was not. The breakfast staff were attentive. The Marina superb. The location.....to die for. It needs to get onto the international circuit because the beauty of this palce cannot be described

In sleepy Fresh Creek, Andros Island, Bahamas, tucked just inside the creek from the ocean is the Lighthouse Yacht Club and Marina. No harbor master for incoming boats. Hotel front desk is rarely manned. No fuel or diving services at the marina. It only serves breakfast and lunch and prepare to wait for service (with bland food offerings) as the... More

We stopped over here on a 2 week yachting cruise and decided to rent a hotel room. The rooms were ample, yet in need of maintenance/upgrades. Air conditioning was not working properly. Pool is not fit for use. It's got very dirty stale water. Staff is nice. Wireless only in the main lodge but is free. A bit pricey for... More

We had quite a bad experience with this hotel from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. For starters, I made reservations about a month before our arrival. Upon arrival, they had no recollection of me and had two funeral parties staying so claimed to have no room. I did have the name of the employee and... More

Rooms were somewhat spartan but clean, friendly staff, exterior somewhat weather beaten and the dock area has had some repairs with some sections still in poor repair. "Hanks Place" across the creek for food and drink is excellent, ate at hotel for breakfeast only which was also prettty good. Overall, for the money, a value.

We flew in from Lauderdale on a private plane. Their customs threw away every foodstuff that was not canned. The taxi to the marina was reckless and unsafe. At the marina, the dock looked like it was ready to fall down. Indeed, during the gear transfer to my yacht I fell through the dock boards. The ladder down to my... More

I found the Lighthouse Marina to be amply managed and equiped. Most of all, my neighbor in the marina, Simon Bain (sportfishing guide), was terrific. He even loaned me $40 when the ATM didn't work, plus he transported me around the island and provided several useful tips on where to eat, etc. Speaking of that, Hank's, over on the Andros... More
