Hope Town is a lovely holiday centre, where there is enough to involve & entertain everyone, but seclusion just minutes away when it's needed. Clifford Sawyer House sits 50 yards from the town dock where all the communities comings & goings can be enjoyed and 200 yards from a stunning, talcum powder soft beach where we never saw more than 6 people on the entire beach, at any one time. The house is unique in that it has all the charm & quaintness of a of truly Bahamian cottage, but wraps it all up in a thoroughly practical, up to date interior.It is truly a home & not a rental property in the quality of all the fittings, the absolute completness of the inventory. There are also the nice touches like a bottle of wine in the fridge, spices in the cupboard & flowers in the bedroom.The free, broadband access & International, internet telephone calling were, in our case, also a big plus.
