The lodge was beautiful and hospitable. Nice for non fishermen and evening of elegant eating, but not so much for fishing. Guide was ok but fishing mgr was sarcastic and not so nice. He was critical of his guides in our presence. They were excessively expensive for all beverages. They charged $3 for bottled water in boat and $6 for... More

This guest, an experienced travelling angler from Texas, booked with us through an agent. He was surprised that drinks and bottled water were not included in his package. We explained that, as a small hotel, we were different to some fishing lodges in preferring to offer a very wide range of wines and beverages and letting people choose their own,... More

Exactly what it says on the label !!. As a house quest you are treated to a wonderful experience by the attentive but not overbearing host Peter Mantle. Great food, wine and fabulous location my other half seems to think that the fishing - which he is still discribing to anyone that will listen !! - was brilliantly organised ,... More

As I have said in other reviews, we are couple of Brazilian travelers and fly fishers. So, most of our trips are decided focusing fly fishing opportunities, plus a tourism program. And in the last 15 years we have fished in some of the most prestigious fishing lodges of the world, both fresh and salt water. This introduction has the... More

The warm hospitality, the fishing, the bird-watching, the gourmet cuisine and guests from around the globe all work together to make this lodge an unusual experience. The hotel itself, perched on a bluff facing the Bahamian Sea, with a wrap around porch-is in pristine condition, and all in all, everyone here goes out of their way to make your stay... More

We had a wonderful three nights at Delphi after a long journey from Scotland! Well worth the trip. This is not a hotel but a lodge with a house party atmosphere, we all meet for cocktails at 6.30 and then sit down at one table for a superb dinner with interesting guests. My husband enjoyed a day bone fishing while... More

Delphi is hidden down a long private track and at the end you are greeted with the most stunning house and superb beach. It feels as if you have walked into someones home and indeed you have. Peter Mantle has built the whole place along with his manager Sandy mainly for bone fishing enthusiasts and bird watchers but it is... More

From the view to the accommodations to the food and wine selection everything is top notch! The manager Sandy is excellent at putting together the entire package. We stayed in May to bonefish for 4 days and were at the lodge for 6 nights with one non fishing day. The fishing guides were great and well skilled. If you are... More

My husband loves to fly fish. I was tired of him leaving me at home and I came across the absolute BEST alternative at the Delphi. He said it was the best fly fishing that has experienced. I walked the gorgeous beaches, met fabulous people, lounged by the pool. The meals, service, and lodging is top shelf. Peter, Sandy, Princess,... More

I was fortunate to be a guest of a Delphi Club member in early April. The club is open to the public as well as to members. This is NOT a bonefishing lodge but a lodge/guest house with excellent fishing. Developed by Peter Mantle of Northern Ireland as a follow up to his Salmon lodge in that country, The Club... More

Peter Mantle who is the driving force behind the founding of this "club" and his team on the ground of Sandy, Gareth,Keesha, Princess et al must be highly commended for delivering a top rate experience. The House is simply a joy to stay in and the memory of our week will sustain us until we are able to return. Although... More
