we just returned from 5 days at Dolphin Beach Resort and were beyond delighted. From the moment we stepped off the ferry and were met by Lubin and brought to our cottage we were enthralled. Our cottage, Ocean Temple was unique and just what we hoped for. Private deck and steps to an almost deserted beach crystal clear ocean and... more

We loved staying at Dolphin Beach. We stayed in Sail Loft and loved having our own private deck right on the dune. We ate breakfast every morning watching sunrise over the Atlantic with the beach to ourselves. It is a perfect quaint beach escape. Nippers, and Docksiders are two great places on the island to eat and there are many... more

this resort is really the only place to stay on Guana Cay. There are a couple other places, but not as nice as the Dolphin Beach Resort. The resorts grounds are beautiful and the houses are all beautiful. Dont expect tv although they do have them in all rooms, They have a large video collection at the front office since... more

My husband, myself and our two children (ages 3 and 5) spent 7 nights on Great Guana Cay (Dolphin Beach Resort). The resort and staff at the resort were very friendly, however the bugs (Nippers) are an absolute nuisance!! My advise can only be: bug spray! bug spray! bug spray ! 24 hours a day. Unfortunately we had 2 days... more

We went to Great Guana due to Caribbean Travel and Leisure's Ultimate Beach Issue in February 2005. It was a truly unique experience. The 1st place we've ever been to that you cannot fly into. You can only get to Great Guana by boat. You land at the airport in Marsh Harbor, bGreat Abaco and take a 10 minute taxi... more

My wife and I just returned from spending our first anniversary at Dolphin Beach Resort. We absolutely loved it and will undoubtedly return. Here are some things I wish I knew before I went: - If you stay in the main lodge be aware that Seaview is the only one of the four rooms that does not have its own... more

TIP1: Bring and conserve your CASH. It is extremely difficult to get cash on the island ... we tried at several spots and only Nippers would give us cash against our credit card and charges $10 per $100 in cash. Most every place takes credit cards but the ferry ($15 pp) does not and you need cash for taxis and... more

We just returned from 8 days at Dolphin Beach Resort. There were 4 adults and 3 children in 2 cottages. We had a super time and found the staff to be exceptional. We loved eating at Nippers and found the Blue Water Grill to be very good too. Be sure to rent a boat as there are lots of small... more

We found the beach to be filled with debris and the roadsides too. Surly person at the reception desk. Hotel office and gift shop opened very little. We had many questions and nobody around to answer them The Mermaid Cafe, located on premises closed up tighter than a drum and no explaination given. Housekeeping attention to detail not good. A... more
