My friends and I really enjoyed the resort and the majority of the staff. Valentine, Lilly, Carlton, security and restaurant employees were sure to make our trip a good one. The weather was wet and cold but we were able to get a few rays. We hope to come back.. The down side would for the hotel is that they... More

So here's the deal...like most have said, the only thing Taino has going for it is the amazing pool and nice beach. And that's pretty much it. The on-site restaurant is not great; and they only have one. We stayed in Marlin building and had a nice unit but the bed, oh lord, the bed. It was the most painful... More

Theres really not much going for Taino Beach. The rooms are okay. Hot showers are rare. Nothing around it. So you have take the ferry or a taxi for shopping and eating. The lone restaurant there is not good. The staff is excellent and the beach party/bonfire was fun.

We stopped here as part of our package with our cruise but we wish we stayed here the whole time. Good food and friendly staff set the tone and the view and beach are amazing. Short ferry to the shopping area but I would rather sit on their great beach.

I stayed here with a friend who was using her sister's RCI week. I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and really wasn't expecting much - and I was pleasantly surprised. We did stay in the "newer" building - the Marlin - and our patio was only steps from the pool. It was a large space, one bedroom, two sitting... More

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed 1 week in the Coral building. We were pleasently surprised by the accomodations brcause RCI stated the unit was 1 bedroom and we got a 2 bedroom unit. Other the Coral, Flintstone themed room, everything was clean and comfortable. At their own pace, the staff was friendly and helpful. Alfie and the swim up... More

No wifi unless you go sit in the lobby. Room is nothing to write home about. They warn you that you'll be billed $50 for dirty dishes but don't give you a sponge or any thing to wash and dry dishes with. There is literally NOTHING on the property if you need to but water, toiletries, a snack etc. have... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Taino beach resort. We wait 2 houres for our room to be ready and stayed completely wet in the reception waiting for it, we ask for hairdryer etc...nothing was done. The staff at the reception is really not helpfull, not smiling, not as it should be in the tourism industry. The room is ok,... More

Staffs r nice but too relaxed to answer questions n they don't smile much. While I n my wife were there, phone didn't work and TV was out for a day. I couldn't make a local calls out as the phone line was down but they refused to make calls for me to friends at other resort or order take... More

We went on our honeymoon there. The room was great and it came with full kitchen, so that you wanted to eat in you could. There was a restaurant on site, plus there was regular shutter bus service to the grocery store at a small fee. The activities was enjoyable also you could just spend you time floating on the...
