Anything would have been better than the horrible we were staying at. so we were forced to stay here and im glad we made that choice! it was so clean and immaculate. the only bad thing is that the rooms had like an enclosed smell but it was nothing big we just kind of opened the doors and windows and... more

Pros: If you want to be literally within a few steps from everything, this is the place to stay. We had a balcony with a nice marina view and were literally right next to the Port Lucaya Marketplace (a fantastic place with shops, straw markets, restaurants, bars, and live music and dancing in the square every night). The rooms were... more

The grounds were immaculate the pool sparkling clean. Maintenance were always around working, security was always close by. It was quite for the most part. Your a short walk from the beach and can see the market place from the backside of your room. If you go by the police station and take that route to the beach you will... more

We attended a convention that was held at the Our Lucaya Westin/Sheraton resort. We're a small company, and the rates were really high, so we looked for ways to save money and still attend the convention. On the map it looked like the Port Lucaya Resort and Yacht Club was very close by, and it was a lot cheaper. This... more

I was a bit sceptical when i first booked a 4 days, 3 night cruise with discovery cruises to Grand Bahama Island and i didnt expect much, to be honest. The cruise was decent. Pretty old ship, an annoying entertainer and the included food was simply horrible. It was alright though, if you keep in mind that it was only... more

Don't plan on getting much sleep. The hotel rents out a building in the center of the hotel complex on weekend nights for events, and allows the occupants to BLAST music until 1AM. We called the front office multiple times to request that it at least be turned down, but they only gave us the run around. We weren't able... more

This was a wonderful trip. Me and two of my girlfriends decided to take a last minute trip to the Bahamas and this hotel fit the purpose. I was a little nervous about staying here from other reviews on other sites but they were wrong. The staff was wonderful. They let us check-in to our room 2 hours early and... more

Friendly staff, big clean rooms, unbeatable location and a wonderful swimming pool outside. We stayed for three days and had great time. There were minor problems - like TV remote not working and bathroom walls strange shade of brown, but the bedding was changed every day, the floor was clean you could eat of it and the toilet actually smelled... more

This place is a wonderful gem. The accomodations are simple but sparkling clean. You could not ask for a better location-- right across the street from the Port Lucaya marketplace. What made it so extraordinary, though, was the staff. They went above and beyond. I was travelling with an aunt who uses a mobility scooter and had been seriously overcharged... more
