We were going to be staying in The Marlin at Taino Beach Resort for two weeks but needed a few additional nights in a hotel at the start of our holiday. We booked via Travel Republic which quoted £52 a night for a double room and mentioned there is an additional resort charge but did not say how much this... More

Stayed here last week and was sort of happy. The hotels staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is dated and lost it's Flaming a long time ago, The ferry was down for maintenance so we had to take a cab downtown which cost about 6 dollars a person, The state park and beach are... Dear "Flamigo not so flaming", Thank you for your recent post on tripadvisor. Unfortunately, we do have to import everything and gas especially is very expensive at $5 per gallon. We do have a wonderful group of loyal guests who returns every year and love the Bahamas. The Management More

Old building. If you spend all the time and money to go to the Grand Bahamas, spend the extra cash and stay across the street at Taino Beach. Flamingo is a bad, old motel 6 at best.No on-site anything, just a plain bland room.

Hotel is the "low cost" dependance of a luxury complex with a very nice and clean beach, a gorgeous pool. Even if you are on the side of the complex, not directly on the beach as the main (read expensive) hotel, you are given a wristband that allows you to enjoy all equipments of the complex. Rooms are very basic,... More

Everyone was so wonderful! They were so helpful and so nice. The beds are very comfortable. You are right at the bay so the ferry to get to grand lucaya market place is just outside your room. There is a wonderful lady in the front desk named "Big Mama" that makes you feel at home and helps schedule all you... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of February. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The first room we checked into looks like it had been forgotten by the cleaning staff but this was quickly fixed and we were given a different room. Later in the evening, while we were outside, nearly walked into our room as they... More

if you're looking for a spring break destination: this is NOT the place. My travel agent was misleading through bahamasun.com and assured me it would be a hot spot for college kids, and I think the median age was 55+. Not close to the bars and not full of people. Food service was less than stellar, restaurant staff treated my... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Flamingo Bay Hotel & Marina for Valentine's Day weekend. The hotel was very basic. Check in was smooth and quick. We stayed here since our normal haunt, Our Lucayan, was booked up. What a mistake. We had two rooms on the first floor front. The noise from out front was incredible. And since upstairs was tiled and uninsulated it sounded like our neighbors were up all night re-arranging the furniture. We could hear every cough, burp, fart from every room... More
