The staff was very nice. You will need a car due to the location not being within walking distance of the more popular beaches. Wi-Fi available at Welcome Center only not in units. New concierge (Brickall) very knowledgable and resourceful. Resort charges for electricity over allotted amount. The unit was clean, however we did see a few insects during our... More

When the cab pulled up to this tiny resort I was stunned at the outward shabbyness. It literally is the oldest least modern resort on the island. At check in they have the nerve to demand a 300 dollar deposit. Be prepared for that. When we checked into the room we were again shocked....but pleasantly. The upstairs downstairs rooms were... There were so many things that had gone awry during my stay at this place. First our downstairs tv didn't work, there was no toilet paper, which I had to go and buy, the neighborhood is sketchy, I came back to the room with no plumbing one night, the electricity was out at one point. Stains were all over one... More

Have been an owner for 4 years been going for 6 years. We love this resort and the staff. Its not your typical crowded resort. Its a nice way to just relax and enjoy the quiet. There is plenty to do and Genie will help you with all you need. Great quiet beach just a walk away and love to... More

If you are planning a trip to the Bahamas, take plenty of cash. Alot of places donot take credit cards and places that do charge a fee to use them. So bring lots of cash. A car isn't needed as long as you take advantage of the activities director, Genie. She will set you up for tours and activities that... More

We knew the place was not on the beach and iwas located in a residential area, so I will not "complain" about that. However, we were invaded by ants even in the beds. When we complained the staff came over and handed us a can of bug spray. Then when we complained again to another staffer they did come and... More

My husband and I stayed at the Woodbourne Resort from 2/14 to 2/20. We exchanged for the two bedroom unit through Interval International. We arrived rather late and were met by WIlliam, the security staff. He took us to our condo and asked if we needed anything. He was very kind and helpful. The condo has a screened in porch... More

We were so unhappy with our stay at the Woodbourne that we moved out and found other accomodations three days into our seven day get-away. The unit had ants throughout....even in our bed! The staff was friendly, but not real accomodating to our concerns. It is not within "walking distance" of much of anything. It's old and rundown. Huge disappointment!
