There were significant problems with my famaily's stay at this resort. The second night in our condo revealed a large leak in the roof of the master bedroom. The leak had obviously been there for a while, because it had multiple layers of paint covering the area. Seems they were trying to hide the problem rather than fix it. They... more

My husband and I stayed at Ocean Reef in April. The weather was great, the people were wonderful , and the island was gorgeous. We had never been to the Bahamas before, and we happened to plan the trip while the weather was sunny with no humidity. The Yacht club is a very nice resort. They will try to sell... more

My husband and I were at Ocean Reef Yacht club from April 27-May3, 2008. This was one of the best vacations we have gone on. The rooms were clean, the people were extremely friendly. So friendly in-fact, we bought a time share from them. It was hard to tell "Doreen" no. She went out of her way to help us... more

We just returned from an absolutely awesome vacation in Freeport, Bahamas, thanks to the wonderful staff at the Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort. Since it was rated as a 3 star hotel I was not sure what to expect, but it exceeded everything and then some. We stayed in a very spacious 2 Bedroom Townhouse that included a fully... more

Overall, Freeport was nice, and our room was nice except...the walls in the 1 bedroom units are paper thin, it feels like your neighbors are right on top of you. At different times throughout the week, we were awakened in the night to the sounds of people snorring, urinating, and other sounds that we should not be able to hear,... more

We stayed at the Ocean Reef Yacht Club in October, 2007, the resort was nice and clean, spacious rooms and great air-conditoner!! If your looking for low keyed resort this is it, though it could be because we were there off season, though they did have some fun activities a couple of nights at the resort which were fun and... more

We asked to be moved after the first night because of the dogs next door barking all night. the plae was dirty and there was nsects running all over the place. My son pulled his covers on his... more

We booked our stay through RCI time share exchange. I was expecting a little more for a Silver Crown exchange. We booked a two bedroom, but were a day late arriving, so they gave us two one bedrooms. They were very spacious, each having it's own room, jaccuzi, living room, kitchen, and patio. The units were nice, but there was... more

This resort is so beautiful. What a wonderful experience. Took a family of 8 in a 3-bedroom villa. Total cost was under $3500 including airfare from the East coast. This is the best bargain in the Bahamas. Three years ago I took my family to Harborside in the Bahamas. The trip cost our family over $11,000...what a waste of money... more
