My friends and I booked a week of vacation staying at Nassau. During the week, we flew from Nassau to Freeport to do Kayak tour and Jeep sefari tour. We only stayed at Freeport for 1 night. We thought this hotel looked very decent had some decent reviews. It was $79 per room per night. We booked 2 rooms (room... more

We were on Grand Bahama in mid February. Coming from Chicago, the weather in the Bahamas is heaven! The hotel was good for the price – not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice, and there is a nice pool bar/snack bar. The on site tour guy booked snorkeling and the beach party for us – both... more

After finding such a great deal for airfare and 6 nights at the Island Palm, my friend and I had to grab the opportunity! However, you really get what you pay for in value. The 24-hour front desk was nice as we got there pretty late due to many delays in our flights, but several times when we called there... more

OMGod This is the trip from hell. I am a very low maintinance person. All I need is a bed and a shower and I'm happy. This place sucks worse than any hell hole that I have ever been in. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. No restuarant on premises open. They tell you that you can use... more

This place has some problems. It's cheap, which is the only virtue. Heard lots of people having lots of issues. The place is old and run down. The staff are nice, but unorganized. My bathroom shower has cracks and had someone else's pubic hair. The tiles on my floor are loose. If you know what you are getting, great, but... more

Like another post, I had paid the company for my rooms, but they did not pay the hotel. When we arrived on the island, the hotel asked me to wait while others checked in, and the staff explained the situation to us (and we weren't the only couple who was in this situation). While I was unhappy about it, i... more

Bugs at this hotel in the rooms, it was a total scam. Front desk made us wait 3 hours with our luggage outside and tried to make us pay for our rooms twice when we had a prepaid voucher where we had paid everything in advance. They were very rude to us and I will never visit the Bahamas ever... more

This was the worst, dirtiest hotel I have every stayed in. Room was not clean, towels looked dirty. We asked for more towels and housekeeper got very defensive and said she put some in there when she didn't. Tried to get pool towels and they didn't have any because they said it wasn't laundry day. Only gave me one packet... more

Just wanted to let you know the vacation was great!! We stayed at the Comfort Suites in Ft. Lauderdale, took the Discovery cruise, and stayed at the Island Palm - all a wonderful experience! The Island Seas beach was gorgeous (a convenient free shuttle connected the Island Palm with the beach and Lucaya), and the Coconuts restaurant was very charming.... more

On June 19 my husband and I went to Freeport, Bahamas. The trip was great! We stayed at the Island Palms Hotel; the hotel was nice, the people were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant food was good, and prices quite moderate. The pool was really nice! I must say that we will be... more
