Suites are very roomy, large decks with chairs outside. The couches in the suited are odd, and the decor is quirky but that's what makes it fun. Excellent service, good value. Three pools with one being a pool bar, they are quiet and clean. The hotel is well within walking distance of many restaurants, if your there for a week,... More

The hotel is in a great location. The room is very average. We loved the breakfast which was not included in the price of our stay. On our last morning they turned the water off. This might have been for hotel maintenance but no one warned us. Luckily we had gotten our showers in before it was shut off!

My husband and I traveled back to Grand Bahama, this time with 6 other family members. Our entire trip was absolutely what we were looking for...low key, causal, just easy!! Pelican Bay was just what we were looking for. Casual, quiet, friendly. This hotel does need some aesthetic improvements, but like I said it is what you wish to make... More

We stayed here for my birthday celebration and I have to say while it was not perfect, I would stay here again. High praise from me as I tend to be hard on hotels and accommodations as it is such a maker or breaker of a vacation. We stayed in January so it's definitely not high season. I did expect... More

This was an interesting place to stay for a night. The reception area is rather traditional, the staff really friendly. The design of the hotel accommodation is 'rather colonial'. Our room was on the ground floor near to the bay. As it was July 4th we watched the firework display over the bay. We had a welcome cocktail at the... More

Stayed here in March. Loved the small Resort. Rooms need a little update but on the flip side of the coin didn't pay 5 star prices either. Sabor Restaurant was excellent. Staff was wonderful and location was perfect. Totally enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I had made reservations to celebrate our 2nd anniversary at the Pelican Bay at Lucaya. I picked Pelican Bay because it is advertised as a 4-star hotel. When we arrived, we were surprised to say the least. The place was dated and unclean. The refrigerator in our room was from the 70's and was visually unappealing (rust/bubbled... More

I recently lodged at Pelican Bay Hotel and had a great time. I came to Freeport to dive with Unexso which is located right next door to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated with views and access to the marina. Also, the hotel is in perfect distance from the Port Lucayan Marketplace where you can find a ton of... More

This is a big hotel complex set by the sea. There is no beach but a free boat service to a nearby one. The hotel has lots of nice swimming pools and hot tubs. It's right next to a dolphin centre where you can swim with the creatures. There are many market style shops on your doorstep selling a good... More

We had a very low key wedding there. Just 10 people, no family just friends. The Bones Bar was our Evening Reception after an Amazing Dinner at the Seafood restaurant next door. We had a complimentary upgrade as we were getting married and everyone was very helpful. You will be very happy here. Great Shops and Restaurants in Port Lucaya... More
