The rooms were amazing, spacious, clean, beautifully made. The grounds were equally impressive with a 2 level pool, palm trees, foliage, etc. The service was very poor. Employees acted like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for towels or kayak equipment. Food service was very slow and food orders were incorrect several times. The reviews we read before we... more

We recently visited Old Bahama Bay for July 4th weekend. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly, fun and on top of the service. Robert (Straw Bar) was so much fun! Harold (Bone Fish Folley's/Aqua) made our dining experience perfect! The girls at the Straw Bar were so accomodating and pleasant. Delicious beachside buffets, and steak and seafood... more

Old Bahama Bay has many good qualities, but we expected a bit more from a "boutique" type hotel resort. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare breakfast in the room and enjoy it on the veranda of our beachfront room. Also, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the views... more

My wife and I just returned from a 5 day, 4 night stay at Old Bahama Bay and I am thrilled to be home. Although the rooms are very nice, and the grounds are beautiful, we did not enjoy our stay overall. Our room had many very small ants in it, and in fact, they were crawling all over our... more

OBB is beautiful and quiet. We were among the few there - most of the time we had the entire beach and pool to ourselves which was beyond perfect! The staff were very friendly but not well trained when it came to service. If you are a demanding traveler do not expect much. They are extremely laid back- if you... more

This is a wonderful place to visit. The food is great and the activities are many. My husband and I had a great room with a beautiful view. All of the activities are included. We went bike riding. sailing, kayaking and you can snorkle right in front of the hotel and see many wonderful and colorful fish. The people are... more

The bahamas is like that: of well you saty in a crowdy area like in cancun of well you are ffar from everything. It's the case of old bahamas bay. The hotel is great but don't exspect a local architecture: it's a nice US hotel. The rooms are great, nice and large, idem for the bathroom. Nothing is missing. The... more

I had an incredible stay at Old Bahama Bay on Grand Bahama Island. The entire staff from the restaurants to the housekeeping were extremely genuine and accommodating. The experience was above and beyond what I had expected coming in to this trip. The rooms were large and clean. Appliances were new. The views were spectacular. The resort grounds were very... more
