If you plan in advance i'm sure this can indeed be an affordable vacation but i'm a bit of a last minute planner. Vacation was booked in June for August. The Reef is one of of the many Atlantis properties in the Bahamas on paradise island. Paradise Island is separated from Nassau by a short 1 minute car ride over... More

This was my third visit to Atlantis. We took the kids when they were very young and once more as they are now teenagers. Honestly they enjoyed the beach and the pools more than the other attractions. We did not do to meal plan and I have no regrets . I liked the flexibility of choosing the restaurants and also... More

I couldn't wait till I get home to write the review.... We stayed at the reef from the 12/8 till the 18/8. First of all the staff in general are so mean and rude most of the time no one at the concierge desk, price for quality is bad, the food is very expensive and not that good. At the... More

Everything about this hotel is about how to milk the customer, saying it nicely! Service, forget it, their attitude is you are stuck here so deal with it. Yes, paradise island is nice, but stay away from this hotel, prices are super high even for rich people, service is not good and food quality is bad.

I would defiantly recommend staying here. It is one of the nicest places I've ever been to. I found no problems, except I do not like the Point Restaurant. Horrible service, food and live music there. All other restaurants are great, especially Mosaic, Mesa Grill and Cafe Martinique. The Reef private beach and pool are much nicer than the beach... More

We stayed here for 10 days with our 4 kids and another couple with 2 kids. There was always plenty to do and the food was good. We have scheduled to return Christmas of this year, it was that good. We are taking some extended family this time and looking forward to it. Negatives- Initially, we had some trouble with... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite which had a nicely appointed kitchen equipped with fairly large stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, sink and a 4 burner cooktop. There were cooking utensils available and china stocked in the cabinets meant for 4 persons. The kingsize bed was a bit too firm for us but the pullout sofa bed was comfortable as... More

Upon arriving at The Reef at the Atlantis, we found that we had a problem with our reservations. Christopher Minnis at the front desk was a savior. It was a stressful situation with our third party booking but he handled the situation with class. I have not had better service from the front desk and bell staff at Ritz Carlton... More

After reading scores of reviews I thought I would add my two cents to families traveling with kids. We have girls ages 7 and 9. To add perspective we live on a resort island and would not of been here except for our kids and the water park. Also I was relieved not to be going to Disney. We chose... More

My family of four stayed in the King junior suite. Not our choice. I had booked a 1 BR premium unit and was given the junior suite as a "comp" due to a power outage. Note the bathroom is surrounded by frosted glass including a large open frosted window to the unit. Perhaps great for a romantic weekend for two;... More
