If you are planning a trip to Compass Point, know in advance that you probably won’t be able to swim in the ocean or snorkel and you won’t be able to take walks there either. The resort is very tiny, the entire property is smaller than our yard at home. The streets are noisy and dangerous, no room for pedestrians... More

We went on a short getaway and my Husband and I loved it! The staff were wonderful - especially Antonnetta who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had a slight problem with our room and the Owner personally sorted the issue and moved us to another one. The restaurant is nice too. Its a peaceful location... More

We spent three wonderful days at Compass Point and would definitely return. It is a very romantic, boutique hotel with a fascinating history. The staff were friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. Our "hut" was just what we expected and we loved the open air feeling and sounds of the waves crashing nearby. I do think it is important to point... More

Compass Point is a beautiful resort tucked away on the outskirts of Nassau. If you want a tranquil vacation away from it all, this is definitely the place. The room & view were incredible and the staff was super nice. Upon realizing that we would have to ride a bus or hire a taxi to get to any tourist spots,... More

Beautiful boutique hotel on gorgeous private beach Food is really good Service is generally superlative If they are having an off night, complain immediately & they will jump to. Love the way the all black Bahamian staff call you "honey" & "baby." They honestly make you feel welcome If too pricey for lodging, go for meals or just drinks &... More

Compass Point is a GREAT, unique resort, that I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. This resort has everything you picture in your dreams of relaxing in paradise: a private beach called, "Love Beach" (could the name get any better?), a delicious Sex on the Beach & a variety of other tasty cocktails, swaying palm trees, calm crystal... I really needed time time to get away from.....life. This resort offered that. It was secluded. It was tranquil. Everything about this resort was refreshing. You wake up in the morning, open your balcony doors, and you are greeted with a spectacular view of the ocean, accompanied with the cool breeze that comes along with it. The staff is top... More

If you're looking, as we were, for a small, quiet resort in a beautiful oceanfront setting, with excellent friendly service, good food and some similarities to the traditional Bahamas of earlier times, this may be the place for you. If you want water slides, paragliding, beachboy service, fancy stores, multiple restaurant choices and nightlife go somewhere else. But now here's... More

Last year 2013 we were very impressed with the service and food. We had Maggie as a waitress and she was wonderful but she has moved on. This year, October 2014, we were very disappointed with the SERVICE and food selection. I think they shortened their menu. We waited over an hour for our food and the service at the... More

I support your decision to select this place if you are going for something a bit more... cozy might be the word. Its far enough away from Nassau and the cruise ships and all the kack that comes with that particular invasive species (kidding, they are good for the local economy). The property was fantastically close to the airport and... More
