We enjoyed it all the food -fantastic, the drinks -tasty, the resort rooms were not dated, easy ride into center of town and the best; the resort was not over crowded! Plenty of beach chairs pools were roomy to swim in & the ocean water very beautiful!

The Melia was a wonderful hotel for the price you pay. Is it Atlantis? No, but the beach is clean, the water is clear, and it's in a good location on Cable Beach. There is not a lot of "nightlife" at this hotel particularly and the bar closes earlier than a 23 year old would want. There's clubs and bars... More

Some small things about the rooms seem a little tired. I would say I had about a 80% hit rate in getting friendly helpful responses from staff. Some were extremely helpful and cheerful - particularly front desk staff. Any enquiry I made at the concierge desk was answered but they seemed to let you know it was a real favor... More

I just returned from a quick trip to the Melia. I had read all the reviews prior and was a little nervous due to the negative reviews but was willing to give it a try. #1 Check in- soooo slow. There is no reason for it to take as long as it did. The girl waiting on us was on... More

I just have to say that I was extremely disappointed in this hotel and their staff. Checking in and out took FOREVER!! We were charged an additional $430 when we checked in and got $100 of it back when we checked out. We got into our room and there were no towels, next morning we asked for them and a... More

My stay at Melia was not the greatest. If my children (8 &13) were not that thrilled then you know it wasn't that great. Most of the staff is extremely pleasant. The drinks were pretty good. The food was mediocre, however, the prices were not worth it. We found ourselves at Fish Fry most meals. The cleanliness of the room... More

We visited Nassau on a cruise and just wanted to hang out on a nice beach. I had called ahead inquiring about getting a day pass to hang out on the beach at the Melia. We wanted a place with facilities, chairs, umbrellas, etc so we didn't mind paying the $30/day to be able to get these things. It was... More

My husband and I stayed at Melia this past May for 4 nights …what an amazing experience that was!! Cable beach was the best of all! that turquoise water made it impossible to resist, the view was extraordinary. Now in terms of the resort, check-in was not the best; big lines and our room was not even available, but they... More

We visited the Melia at the end of July. This is the 7th time that I've been to this resort (under different property names). The past 3 visits have been as a family party of 10. I can't say enough positive things about not only the Melia but the people that work there! We come back year after year not... More

Had the best time at this resort, I stay at Melia Beach Resort for 4 nights last week... at our arrival there was a line to check in, it took us 30 minutes wait in line and 10 minutes to check in. The staff was great and friendly :) the room was clean and had enough towels... I have read... More
