Let me start by saying what I really liked about the Melia. First of all, the beach is very pretty, the water is very calm because it is reef-protected and there are some pretty fish and other things to see if you like to snorkel. If you are traveling with younger children, this beach would be great for them. The... More

We recently returned from a much needed 4-night winter getaway to the Melia Nassau Beach. From the moment of our arrival, it became fairly evident that the alleged luxury and quality of the Melia name was not to be found here. Service was downright rude, ineffective, and inefficient. On the rare occasion when a hospitable or helpful hotel employee was... More

Let me tell you, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY! We have never stayed at a Melia property before, and were somewhat apprehensive when we first booked our reservation for a 6 night stay. Upon arriving at the property, we were quite relieved at how well the property was taken care of. We had booked “The Level” access, which... More

We came here on a day pass when our ship stopped off. It was $30 an adult and $15 for children to have access to the facilities, beach, towels, etc. which are all very nice. We read you can do all inclusive for a day for a little more money but when we got there they said they have discontinued... More

A nice hotel but for the rate paid we expected a better cleaning of our rooms, more attention to our complaint (we asked for bug spray for mosquitos in our room but never got it) and a cleaner eating area( Marketplace overrun with flies and stray cats.) The pool area is very good and the service very good.

Just came back from melia for 6 nights. Very slow service is there biggest down fall. Ran out of towels by the beach almost everyday. Also ran out of other things like certain drinks or food. Waited an hour to check in when we already did a pre-check in. I have to say the food was very good. This can... More

We went on the off season for a quick Valentines day weekend vacation. Initially the idea was for my partner and I to go on a vacation with some friends and kick back. We chose to lookat Melia as we had stayed at one of their Cancun resorts and really enjoyed it (and we had some rewards points that cut... More

This hotel used to be a Sheraton property and little has changed besides the name. My visit was in August 2014 so I am unaware of any changes made since then. I had 1 room w/ king bed for 2 nights. They provide little bracelets at check-in to identify you as a hotel guest, but the only way to remove... More
