This is a gorgeous little resort consisting of pastel painted colonial-type houses and apartments. There's a row of bars and restaurants on site and also a pool and hammocks. There's also a gorgeous beach across the road (Sandyport Beach/Cable Beach). The bus passes here into downtown for $1.25.

Let me start by saying, as an avid traveler, this by far is the worst hotel/resort including the front desk staff. Upon arrival after an all day of traveling, one would expect a warm welcome - oh no, not so. What my family and I received in turn was the resort fee cost which needed to be paid at arrival.... We ended up at this place after having to leave our last hotel due to severely poor conditions. We booked a standard room online but when we arrived there were none available so we were upgraded to a studio at no extra charge. The room was very nice and clean although you could hear the adjoining room very clearly. The... More

My room was old, my friend's was nicer...the room is bright, so you wake up with the sun....really... location is good and quiet... nothing to do at night...and very chill during the day... pool, lagoon and beach are nice... There is no breakfast, wifi is paid (60 USD for a week) and didnt work in my room at all... Everytime... More

Appearances are deceiving for this resort. The grounds are lovely and the hotel buildings are nice. The beach is wonderful and the location is peaceful. Fun bus ride to the downtown costs $1.25 But the reality is not as pleasant. We had a two night stay. The first evening there was no ice, and there was no attempt to get... More

We needed a layover spot close to the airport, flying to Andros and staying at Tiamo resort for a week. With the $34 per person hidden surcharge, Sandyport was right at $290 a night. The bed was absolutely the hardest bed I have tried to sleep on in about 5 years. My wife was up all night. The power had... More

Waiting outside the Sandyport reception area we were horribly bitten by mosquitoes as they have a stagnant water pond/moat on the property. All of the stagnant water just created a horrible breeding ground for mosquitoes around the property. The room that we got was quite dated and poorly maintained. Some of the rooms around looked to be in a better... More

Love the cottage feel decor. Love the jacuzzi in the middle of the bedroom floor. Love the pool, it starts out with sand the the shore and takes you into the pool. Also there's another pool that has slides into the pool. So cool for a small resort. Also there's a beach at your back door. Quite lovely!

Very spacious clean room away from the hustle and bustle! Outstanding views of the canal and access to beach with amazing views! Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff! Special thanks to Lady Sarah and Cameron!

Ok hotel, although too expensive for what you get. We booked a room with 2 beds. At check in was told we could have a free upgrade. We went to our new room and found it was only one bed! Um... not quite an upgrade if they're taking away one of the beds that we had booked! We went back... More
