I have mixed feelings about our time at Sandyport and Nassau in general. The resort is a mix of hotel rentals, privately owned condos and timeshares. It is located on the canal with a path to the ocean. Pros: The staff was very friendly and the pool and beach area on the inside section of the resort were great. Lots... More

Sandyport is a great place to stay. Very accommodating staff and close to all attractions. The Rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. It's great for a family or couple getaway. Wether you desire peace and quiet or you want to party, you won't have a problem finding either.

This property is a haven. It's quiet, calm and convenient. The walk out to the private beach on the canal, the underpass to the ocean, the jacuzzi tub in the room... absolute heaven. It's quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. There are restaurants and night scene if desired at the marina and the swimming pools with water slides made the place a... More

I love Sandyport. My husband and I have stayed half dozen times over the last several years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is nice and helpful. The location is excellent... Far enough out and secluded enough that you feel very safe and with the gated security you feel that your safety is a high priority for... More

If you are looking to relax this is the place to go. You have access to most of if not all of the excursions that are offered in Nassau (snorkeling trips, etc) but the property itself leads to a relaxing time. The pool is great and you are within walking distance to a beach (the beach is not private but... More

We were booked at Cove Atlantis but somehow managed to book flight one day before hotel reservation. As this hotel was ranked #4 on trip advisor I figured it could not be half bad. Boy was I wrong. The place is is major disrepair and looks nothing like the pictures. There was roach spray in the closet and hairs from... More

We LOVED Sandyport Beaches resort! The apartment itself was Terrific. i was leary after reading mixed reviews about the place itself, but the apartment was clean and comfortable and provided all household necessities, I upgraded to a two bedroom and it was well worth my kids having their own beds, which were sooooo comfortable, btw. as opposed to the sleeper... I stayed at Sandyport a couple weeks ago. It was one of the nicest places I've stayed at. I loved the quiet and small setting. The staff was very friendly. The beach access was great. There were not many restaurants nearby, but I knew that going into my trip. The rooms have small kitchenettes which allowed me to have the... More

I stayed here with my daughter for a week in April 2012. Our room was fantastic. It had a kitchen, living room, dining area, large bedroom and 1.5 baths. The resort itself was very nice, Set on a great lagoon. The ocean is just on the other side of the resort from the lagoon. Perfect location to enjoy pool, lagoon & ocean... More

An awesome place to stay, relax and enjoy great food and drinks at a reasonable price. Your own beach right outside your door and the open ocean within walking distance right across the street. The best cook on the island is my brother Cleveland. Always willing to go out of his way to make you the best breakfast omelets, great... More
