This is NOT a gay friendly hotel. Upon our arrival, we knew that we were not truly welcomed to the hotel. During check in, they noticed that we only requested one bed but had two adult males checking in. They said that they could not offer that request and booked us two single beds. The room was average, nothing special... More

Went to Nassau on a cruise. Had about 8 hours to see what we could. Spent the first day on grand bahama island and weren't looking to go on an excursion in Nassau. Packed a suit, towel and snorkel gear for the family and walked into the port area. Walking in the port area was ok. Straw market was an... More

A short walk from the cruise ship (Carnival Sensation), this beach was the perfect spot to kick back and relax. Despite visiting during Spring Break (5 ships were in port!), it was not overly crowded. There are public restrooms and a shower. A live band and several bars to complete the island atmosphere :-)

Nassau is an expensive crossroads city in an underdeveloped country. For those avoiding the first-world commercial fairytale, Atlantis, or the $400/night bill at the Hilton, this is safe and central. It is a shabby concrete building, and it is not the USA. But in this expensive city it is a reasonable refuge with touches, good and bad, of real Bahamian... More

Don't even bother staying here - waste of your money. Spent there 6 nights over the new years eve 2014/2015 and that was my worst experience ever. Hotel is old and unmaintained, stinky and dirty rooms, loud from the street and construction site on the opposite side of the street wakes you up at 5am in the morning ! They... More

I have such mixed feelings about this place;hence the totally ambiguous and unhelpful review title (sorry). I'll try to break it down. First, ignore the word "resort," that is a total joke. This might be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. On the other hand, I've stayed in a lot of hostels in the us, Europe, and... More

If you're looking at this hotel review, you're probably a budget traveler trying to squeeze as much Bahamas as possible from your money without sacrificing basic comforts of your stay. This is just the hotel for you. At least on New Providence island (where Nassau is located), all hotels largely fall under 3 general categories: - glitzy all inclusives such... More

This hotel is full of life well maintained well serviced under local standards to be central nassau and not over paying for short term stays....internet access is a hazard...otherwise many people are criss crossing various cultures...except the busy street there is a nice beach with azur sea.. large linecruisers are coming in and out and life can be fun...

Gotta hit Marshalls World Famous if you visit Junkanoo Beach. It's an easy walk from cruise terminal. For lunch walk a little ways further to Fish Fry, just don't stop at Candies. The beach has restrooms/shower, the further down you walk the less crowded it gets. Been there on 3 separate trips, not a bad way to pass some time... More
