I love the towne hotel. Have stayed here half a dozen times. Extended my stay in Nassua and loved the location. Lucky, the barman, was awesome. As a single, traveling woman I felt very safe and comfortable. Even was safe going out nearby at night. You have it all here if you like the unbeaten path.

Have stayed here multiple times before and after live aboard dive trips. Rooms are clean, comfortable enough and hot showers and AC works. We like the funky vibe to the place and the pool area is a great spot to chill with a cocktail. Great location in downtown Nassau, so walking distance to restaurants and shops. This is not a... More

Yes I will agree with many of these reviews that the place is outdated looking like it's stuck in the 90s! But my review is going to be a great for this hotel. So I was staying in a room on the first floor with 2 others, with 2 double beds so 2 of us were sharing. The beds were... More

For full disclosure, I am not a big fan of Nassau. I visited here in the early and mid 2000's and reading prior reviews, sounds like nothing has changed at all. Staff was very surly, no matter how polite you are to them, see tourists as a nuisance. Bed lumpy, shower in room was salty, room small. "Continental breakfast" was... More

remember; you're travelling to the carebbean. sense of quality, tidyness, safety are not the same as in western europe or north america. All in all everything sorta works, shower, AC, bed, linen, breakfast, pool. Cost of living in the bahama's is relatively expensive, compared to other hotels this is good buck for the dollar (euro). it's in the middle of... More

My wife and I spent a week at Atlantis in 2013. Our expenditures averaged about $1000 per day, including room, meals, resort fee, automatic gratuities, more fees, taxes, and more fees. While it is an amazing property, it is also a ripoff. This time we tried something different and booked a room at Towne. This is a funky, locally owned... More

Booked online as it had the most reasonable prices for a downtown, Nassau location. Received confirmation within a couple hours. Reservation was located when I showed up at the hotel a few weeks later with no problem. The credit card machine was down, but that was an issue with the local internet connection and not the hotel. Staff was friendly,... More

We were in room 45 on the third floor. Awful room. Very lumpy bed, like sleeping on a box spring. No outlets for charging. The A/C was manual and mounted high on the wall, so you needed a chair to change the setting. It was either on or off. Internet was mostly not working. Finally, the TV reception was very... More

This is a very random hotel in Downtown Nassau. It is very close to the area where the big cruise lines stop, so lots of shops and bars. If you want a non smoking room like we did be sure to request it and then complain if you don't get it! Also as this is downtown there is a lot... More
