Don't stay here. Rats All around the building, tried to cancel for a 1 day stay we had booked later in the week, and they were unwilling to work with us on cancellation fee. You are LOCKED IN IF YOU TAKE THIS CHANCE!! Not worth the risk.

Let's face it. You aren't getting a huge room at $95 a nigh but this hotel is pretty good for that price. Yea, the rooms are small but I only used them to sleep. At this price, you get free breakfast too. Breakfast is simple but you get your basic nutrients. The staff are super friendly too. And it turns... More

...My son and I took a one week sailing trip in the Bahamas. His trip started and ended in Nassau. We decided to stay in Nassau a few days before and after our trip. We thought it would be interesting to see what we could see in Nassau. I have traveled enough to know that you can get good bargains... More

If you really want to feel the heart and soul of the Bahamas, I would recommend The Towne Hotel. The Bahamian artwork in its lobby is exquisitely beautiful, and the Parrot named Max adds to the charm of this hotel. The staff are warm and friendly, and it has a cozy atmosphere. It is located in the heart of downtown... More

The Towne Hotel in downtown Nassau isn't the cleanest place I've ever stayed, but it wasn't gross, and the rooms had A/C, passable beds, and private bathrooms, as well as TV, cable, and Wifi. The decor is charming and colorful, and the staff are very helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance to most things downtown, including Junkanoo beach and... More

My fiance and I stayed here the before and after our Black Beards cruises scuba diving liveaboard. While the hotel is centrally located its downfall is that same reason. There is ALOT of traffic, EXTREME NOISE from senior frogs the next block over ALL NIGHT due to spring breakers and its a bit pricy for what it is. The rooms... More

Enough said. Devastated when I returned to the hotel and walked in to see two large roaches scampering from under the bed. You get what you pay for. Next time I will book the colonial Hilton. Feel bad as the manager was nice whenever checked in bit you can't have large roaches.

taxi to get here is $28. The room I had if it were a real hot day. would never get it. It was also very loud. There is a center between the rooms. Noise could be heard from this area, but was quiet after 8. Smokers can use this area and the smoke gets into the rooms. Hotel is only... More

My husband and I spent 3 total nights in Nassau and stayed here in a Jr. Suite (2 double beds) with another couple. We didn't want to spend a ton of money on a resort so we expected and wanted the hostel-type experience. It's not Atlantis, but we knew that. We were able to walk all over from this location.... This place is just as cozy and authentically hospitable as you would expect looking at the pictures and considering the warm welcoming reputation of the locals. The staff are all very friendly greeting you every morning and night ready to satisfy any requests. The online rate is a bit deceiving, we booked a room for 4 and only 3 of... More
