My family and I recently visited Nassau as a Port of Call on a cruise. We didn't book any excursions because we didn't want to feel rushed or under a time schedule. Our initial intent was to visit the local beach. We walked there but didn't feel like that would be a relaxing spot to stay for the day. We... More

I stayed here for one night as a sort of "mandatory" holding time in the Bahamas. I wasn't expecting too much from this place but as soon as I arrived I realized the Graycliff is truly a gem. The ambiance makes you feel as if you have just returned home. The rooms are very unique and not at all like... More

Stayed here for three nights and ate at the hotel facilities for two of the three nights. Firstly the room was comfortable without being special. Everything worked, we had plenty of towels and were well looked after. We ate initially at the hotel's Brazilian restaurant - now having been to Rio many times, I can say that this is a... More

What can I say, if you want to stay in a hotel calling itself “5 star” be my guest, but beware of the following things, Greycliff is 1st & foremost a restaurant, not a hotel! That being said, you will like Greycliff if: -you enjoy being treated rudely & are made completely unwelcome on multiple occasions by one of the... More

We stayed at the hotel over Thanksgiving break for three days - Tile Room. Really loved our stay. Great staff, really wonderful room, and an astounding restaurant. We ate dinner there 2 nights and they were memorable. The pool area is very relaxing. We visited the other hotels - and none compared. This was amazing if you like luxury, elegance,... More

Have had the pleasure staying here a couple of times whilst in transit through the islands. The hotel is situated in the centre of downtown Nassau, you wouldn't know it whilst lying beside the pool surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. The hotel has two restaurants I have only ever eaten at the Brazilian meat restaurant - delicious! Lovely little bar... More

Five nights at the Graycliff were enough to confirm that this is not a charming window into a by-gone era - it is a shabby run-down hotel with a bad business model. We started in the Pool Cottage for a night, and were thankfully moved to the Mandarino Suite, which was actually a lovely room and very clean and well... More

We went there to satisfy our curiosity after reading comments. We went in to discover what a very old hotel looks like. The furniture, the dining room with tables beautifully set up, the wooden walls and stairs, all this was like turning the clock backward. We then proceeded to the gardens, walked around, checked the plants and trees and sat... More

Due to some hiccups in travel arrangements travelled by myself and have to say the whole experience was far better than I expected even though a hurricane tried to happen as well whilst there. The room was absolutely beautiful however would say if you are expecting the most modern up to date then this is not the hotel for you... More

The hotel is nicely located on the main island right off Main Street. It's very quiet overnight and after dinner you can enjoy one of the hotel's own cigars (yes they roll their own) with a glass of Bahamas rum and live, authentic Bahamas piano music. Breakfast was the only real terrible thing.... It took over 45" to get the... More
