We stayed at El Greco Hotel for a few weeks while we were looking for a house to live. It's in a great location to walk to the beach or town and the room are a nice size with a seating area, great for not feeling too cramped, the bed was also large and very comfy but all together the... more

My boyfriend and I flew into Nassau one day early for a company-sponsored trip at The Cove on Atlantis (Paradise Island). Not wanting to foot the $680/nt rate at The Cove, I booked El Greco for the one night. I'll be honest: I am a spoiled traveler, and after reading the reviews, I was a bit leery about our choice.... more

We booked with the hotel directly, and they were responsive and helpful. They allowed us to check in early, since they knew we were arriving in the morning. Our room (no. 121) was clean, bright, airy and spacious, with a king-sized bed, plus a small sitting room with two sofas. The main windows faced onto a side street and the... more

I had to stay in downtown Nassau for 2 days. We looked on the internet and saw that the Greco Hotel had good reviews so we choose to stay there. The minute we arrive at the hotel I knew we have made a bad decision. The room that they gave us was horrible, there were big red stains under the... more

The El Greco offers good deal for hotels in Nassau: The location is great: Getting around has no problems: it is in the heart of downtown Nassau, you can walk to the ferry dock to Paradise Island (5 min). Or taking a public bus right at the door to Cable beach, which costs only 1 dollar. If you need a... more

On arrival we saw a guest leaving with a prostitute, but our friends were already there and it was too late in the day to change hotels. While our friend's room wasn't too bad, ours looked like some kind of ghetto apartment. We didn't want to sit on the "lounge" room couch because it looked dirty. Our sink was backed... more

It was magnificent I loved it. They have a very complimentary breakfast. They also have great service. The people couldn't be nicer. We had the opportunity to stay on Paradise Island and wished we had never left the El Greco. From the moment we arrived until we left, everyone made us feel welcomed and at home. Definitely 5 stars!!! more

I stayed at the El Greco in July after reading the reviews. This was my first trip to Nassau and was skeptical since I was travelling alone. The neighbourhood was sketchy, (there was a beat up building right next to it and had some shady characters hanging out there), though location was convenient. It is a 5 minute walk to... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for a week in El Greco. The location was perfect! Walking distance to FishFry (where we ate most evenings, the market (the only place you can get a bargain) and to the ferry to Paradise Island. It's also close to the banks to change money. There is a beach over the road, not the best,... more

I just returned from a family vacation to the Bahamas. We spent 5 nights at the El Greco and found it to be all that other the other reviewers had promised - friendly, spacious, clean, a very good value. Happily, the 2 bed regular room we booked wasn't available on arrival and we were upgraded to a lovely and spacious... more
