We stayed at El Greco hotel for one night after our Blackbeard's Liveaboard dive cruise. What a gorgeous little hotel! The lady at the front desk was SO nice and the service was wonderful. The pool was secluded and private, and the view from the veranda of the beach and the giant cruise ships approaching was amazing. We stayed in... More

It's not a 300usd$ hotel, let's get that straight. If I was in Laos or Cambodia it would be $15 hotel- but Bahamas it was the only thing I could find for $80-100 and it was clean, quaint. It isn't Atlantis, but I don't think you would expect it considering the price difference. The staff is nice, the Internet is... More

Dear Friend, The Things YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE spending your moneys at this Terrible Hotel 1. Walk with mosquito repellent-The room is filled with mosquitoes and I really don't want the staff telling you as they told me, "You should have walked with your repellent" 2. There's no refrigerator (a basic commodity) in the room, you need one you have... More

Booked as a last-minute sleepover for a quick holiday. First, the sign for the hotel is on a closed down restaurant on the main street. We parked out on the street next to the beach and investigated. Not such a good first impression until you get round the corner and see the actual hotel. Check-in went smoothly, and we were... More

Ok, staff is nice, hotel is very well located in Nassau but there's nothing to do, it's a dirty shack where I had to sleep with long sleeves and pants and sock because I was scared getting into that bed. Bathroom old and dirty , really only for a touch and go one night if you have to, Bahamas isn't... More

We only needed a one night stay before our flight from Nassau and didn't want to spend a fortune but after reading some reviews we weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The courtyard was well kept. The room was clean. The AC worked. The bath towels could be replaced.... More

I would guess that this is a local family run hotel, nothing wrong with that, if they make a real effort. My room was filthy, could not see out of the windows for the dust and smudge, the old ceiling air conditioner was too cold and noisy. There are no services to speak off, no water, coffee or mini bar in... More

The hotel is in a good location, but it was a $30 taxi ride from the airport. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful, arranged for taxi service for us back to the airport. The hotel was clean. But the towels were treadbare, old, thin, and the "bath towels" (only 2 of them) were basically the size of... More

Our room was very clean (number 18; 2nd floor) and the bed sheets were soft and felt like home; sometimes bed sheet in hotels scare me but these were exceptionally nice. The center court yard was very beautiful and the plants/flowers well kept. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Having Junkanoo beach directly across the street was a huge... More
