I chose EL GRECO after checking out 3 other "low cost" establishments in the downtown area (Towne, Junkanoo, and 2 others whose names I can't remember). At $110 - $115 per night I still felt it was overpriced for what it was (picture a 50-year old "motel 6") but it was DEFINITELY the best of the lot in this price... More

I stayed at this hotel last week, a single white female traveling by myself which is somewhat unusual in the Caribbean. I felt so at home at this hotel and made friends with the lovely staff there who all looked out for me and loved hearing my adventure stories (swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with sharks!). I would highly recommend this... More

Though the location is very good, as it is right next to the beach, the rooms are not up to standard. No shampoo or other toiletries except two thin slivers of soap. The shower head in my room was stuck and only directs the water towards the other side of the tub, so I could only wash with what trickled... More

I was able to appreciate the friendliness of the staff of this hotel during my stay in Nassau. The place is nice, friendly and clean, and most importantly it is also frequented by locals, which I think is the most important thing. Just outside the hotel there is a very pretty beach with many kiosks and live music. If you... More

El Greco could be a lovely hotel if the owner made the effort. The rooms are spacious, but that's pretty much all it has going for it. It's run down and in need of a thorough scrubbing and new bed linens. We spent one night in a 'junior executive suite' after a sailing holiday. We just wanted a place to... More

Ok. Its cheap compared to what is available, but is it ? I arrived in early December and rented a property prior to meeting up on a yacht for a 2 week sailing holiday through the Exumas over Christmas and New Year 2014. I needed a hotel for 3 nights prior to my departure back to UK. Whilst in Nassau,... More

Coming back from Eleuthera just for only one overnight in Nassau where we spent some days in another hotel, before leaving for Italy, we choosed this location for some decent review, for its central position, for its price, less expensive than others. The road on the entrance smells of sewer. Our room was on a court surrounding a swimming pool... More

Hello everyone, I posted a review back in July 2012 called " Presidential Suite makes it worth it so you can all read my experience at the Greco. This time I am just positing the pictures I never was able to attach so you can have an idea of the presidential balcony and the area. I named the review the... More

We stayed in the presidential suite along with family who staye din the other two junior suites. Pros: Yolande and Diane are fantastic, helpful, welcoming and warm. Great view onto Junkanoo Beach and within walking distance of the Fish Fry and downtown Nassau. The suite itself was comfortable with nice beds. Cons: no hot water, it can be noisy, not... More

I'd say El Greco Hotel is not for everyone. For example, I went on a business trip it served its purpose but I would never stay there with my wife and to be honest I am not going to stay there again unless they renovate. On the good side the hotel is literally steps away from the beach and walking... More
