We purchased day pass on a cruise trip. The hotel is pretty and has a good location, but we were unable to fully use the passes. Let me explain. Although 3 of our 5 family members were able to find seating for a light lunch, it took literally over 30 minutes to get a waiter and an hour to get... More

We recently stayed 4 nights at British Colonial Hilton (BC). We really did enjoy our stay. The Hotel is full of history and had a great look with a clean and comfortable room. The house cleaning department was very friendly. We had breakfast at Aqua restaurant 4 mornings. Service was consistently sorry, food was delicious but expensive. The grounds, pool... More

I recently stayed at the British Colonial Hilton for my Memorial Day weekend vacation. Here are the positive and negative aspects of my stay. Positive aspects: Exteriors and interiors (including hallways and all furniture) are well-maintained and in excellent condition. Decor is contemporary. Bed and bedding were comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. Thermostat was reliable and A/C... More

I have to admit, when I first arrived I was very excited. The hotel had recently had a facelift, looked lovely and was a few minutes away from work. When I had emailed a few weeks earlier to inform staff my husband would be joining me for a few day, I was told in writing - that "Spouse stays free".... More

Work is under way on major renovations and additions but so far it hasn't interfered with the hotel operations. The hotel is showing it's age but overall is in good shape. It's downtown location, beach, pool and view of the cruise ships coming and going are still it's big selling points. The food was good but, as is expected, at... More

The BC Hilton is ideally situated on the edge of downtown Nassau, with its own private beach. The hotel is maybe about 100 years old, however was recently renovated. Unfortunately, its main rooms remain the original small size, and for the price , must have been the smallest room I have ever had. The view over the beach and pool... More

We were on a cruise and got admission to the private beach. It was worth it!! Beautiful ocean front property with cabanas and fresh water pool. The hotel itself is historic and well maintained. We left Nassau with this being the highlight. Its a 15 min walk from John Watlings Distillery and Fish Fry.

We took a day pass option to the Hilton from our Disney cruise. It is an easy walk from the cruise port but unfortunately there are lots of persons along the way that are determined to sell you something. Just keep walking, for as soon as you enter the hotel property, it is a quiet oasis. Be prepared with your... More

Loved the historic hotel however food service was lacking greatly. The bar by the pool had awful food and never had full ingredients for all listed drinks. Including ice one day. Restaurant is ok food. Loved the facility just lacking on food services.

We just returned from spending a week at the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau. The location is great for walking around town, and we enjoyed seeing the cruise ships come and go every day. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Omar who provided us poolside service. Our room was clean and the maid service was excellent. There were a... More
