This Greek couple is interesting in that they make a good business work for them. They maintain their rooms and were painting one of them as were leaving. Rooms are small and quiet. I personally like more class but for someone who is on a budget and needs comfort, security, and location, this is it. When the husband owner started... More

An excellent value guesthouse in a great location. It makes Nassau feasible on a budget. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was made everyday. I would definitely recommend this place if you are not looking for luxury.

It's not advertised on the street and therefore hard to find at first - but as soon as you're in you're welcomed by the lovely host Maria who will ensure you have a comfortable and safe stay. Very clean throughout, quiet, great location just a couple of minutes from Bay Street. Would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed at Mignon for 5 nights while renewing visas. We we were shocked to find that Nassau does not seem to have mid-range hotels so your choices are $300 per night Hiltons etc or very modest back-packer style inns. The Mignon Guest House is clean enough if a little well-worn with shared baths M/F - the owners were friendly... More

Stayed here for a week in April, 2014. The owners Maria and Steve Antonas are very mean people who have simply expanded their home to ensure they have an income. They live at the entrance of a hallway that leads to the guest rooms. Business is done like a "backdoor deal". No receipt is provided upon payment. There is an... More

The owner Steve is a very mean, bad-behaved swindler – he cheated me twice! I came to Nassau at the beginning of December and wanted to stay for a couple of months if I could find an affordable accomondation. The owner Steve offered me a good price, $45 INCLUDING taxes per night! Based on that price I decided to stay... More

The owners are absolutely wonderful, they made me feel like family. The know everything about Nassau and will give sage advise when asked. The accommodations are cleaner than I have ever seen anywhere before. Its a great economical way to see Nassau........it couldn't even be beat if you paid much more. What a great experience!

If you are looking for fancy, luxurious lodgings, do not come here. If you plan to spend your time outside of your room, touring the island and lying on the beach in the Bahamain sun and you just want a clean, safe, air-conditioned place to shower and sleep at night, then this is the place for you. It is located... More

We were lied to at the Towne Hotel a block away who overcharged us and were VERY rude. at the mignon they let you use the refridgerator and microwave, dishes,... More

This place sets a demarcation line between what would have been once the true bahamian ppl's style (speaking in terms of hospitality) and the all-inclusive debris along cable beach! Mary and Steven were super sweet and friendly, and they made us imediatelly feel at home with them. They know everything one would like to know/see since they ve been living... More
