In all fairness we knew what we were getting into when we booked this hotel, I did my research both on TA and other website and heard not nice things about this hotel. My hubby and I were in need of a few days away from the kids and jobs, so we decided on a very budget friendly getaway. In general the Bahamas is not inexpensive, so that was mistake number one and mistake number two was convincing ourselves that the hotel would not be that bad. I can honestly say that the food was really tasty especially in the reservations only restaurant (sorry I forgot the name), the pool was nice and relaxing and the drinks were flowing, that ends what I can say about the goodness of the hotel. The hotel should be closed down and a total renovation needs to take place soon, it is dirty in most of the common areas and the rooms were minimally cleaned. I never saw the lobby cleaned not once in 4 days spent there and I won't even tell you some of the filth I saw because it would make you ill... more
