Ok, let's preface this review by saying that we did not stay at the camps. We took a taxi to Waterlemon Cay, and were warned that it could be difficult or impossible to get one back without walking into town. We rolled the dice and had the time of our lives at Waterlemon. We started our trek back and we... More

Understand that you will be staying in a tent and taking unheated showers, but the place is one of a kind. The food is awsome. Plenty of things to do in that section of the island. Its a great way to expereince the National Park since so much is close by. There is a sister location on the south side... More

We stayed at Maho Bay Campgrounds in one of their Harmoney Studio apartments. The place was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the accomodations about what they described. A convenience is that you can charge everything, from the beach equipment to meals, right on your account. HOWEVER< the road up to Maho Bay Campgrounds is... More

Seven nights on Maho and I want to go back. Is it perfect? No. Is it unique, close to nature, with stunning bay views, easy access to gorgeous beaches and snorkeling, and way off the beaten path? Yes. My family (with our two teens) loved it, especially our million dollar view from A-14. As long as you can live with... More

My family and I have been to Maho Bay twice. After hearing us talk about it my mother and two sister and their children all enjoyed Maho Bay. I will always have wonderful memories of this beautiful place and the wonderful people we met,

Just returned from Maho and I am so sad that I will not get to experience this amazing place again. Maho Bay Camps closes on May 15th so if you are checking the reviews you better hurry up and go!! Have been vacationing there for many many years and I have loved it! It is a special place. If the... More

This place is a special treat for a special type of person. This is for people who are outdoor lovers and embrace life without modern conveniences. It is camping in every sense of the word in a communal style small camp community. It's an open camp so you will see and interact with neighbors who may become your friends. It's... More

When I camp I pitch a tent and rough it. When I want luxury I pay for a nice hotel. So I guess I don't get paying luxury prices for a semi tent -- replete with Mosquitos, a single light bulb and greasy dining room floors. I guess all the Manhattanites we met consider this some type of Eco- roughing... More

Just stayed our first and last time at Maho Bay Camps, only because they are closing May 15th. Glad we got the opportunity to experience it. Very unique with great activities. They had glass blowing demonstrations the night we were there. Great secluded beach too. Place is showing a little needed maintenance, but very understandable seeing as though it will... More

Stayed here for a week and loved it. So sad it's closing or I'd be planning a trip back next year. Heard about it word-of-mouth from friends, and that it was closing, and a group of 7 of us managed to find a time that worked for all of us. So glad we made it. Loved the tent cabins. Very... More
