Cinnamon Beach is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The campground itself is quite nice. But our platform tent camping experience was very challenging. We've camped with our kids all over the US. The things that made it a challenge--platform tents are incredibly hot inside at night, even when there is a breeze it doesn't penetrate the tent. And you cannot keep... More

We loved Cinnamon Bay Campground! We stayed in a cabin that was just steps to the ocean. The cabin had electricity, fans, and a real bed with sheets. (blankets available at front desk). The bathroom facilities were very clean and showers cold. Not my favorite but we were camping. We noticed a lot of campers brought portable shower bags and heated... More

you are truly camping here. this is not a luxury place. once you know that, it's fine. I rented a tent there and they give you all you need plus linens. the tent is on a platform and i felt safe and protected. i would have loved a breeze, but alas no. so it was a humid time. the food... More

This is a beautiful location right on the beach. It's quiet and the campers are all friendly making for a great vibe. If you go here, you definitely need to bring your own tent. The platform tents are falling apart (we stayed in 2 separate ones) mosquito netting is unreliable, the tents are musty - it would be better to... More

this is my third trip to St. John and my second stay at the campgrounds. I stayed in a cottage for 6 nights and even though I have the means, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I just love the laid back way there and you are right on the most beautiful beach. Things move at a different pace. The beach... More

The location is superb and the beach is beautiful but the campsite is terrible. The tents are musty and full of holes. There is no way to keep out any of the insects. The campsite is full of cockroaches (we couldn't cook after the sun when down due to all the cockroaches) and rats (supposedly attracted by the almond trees).... More

I stayed two nights in a platform tent. The tent had not been cleaned in any way in a long time. There was dirt and sand covering not only the floor, but the cots as well. The cots were what I expect to find in a house abandoned 50 years ago - rusted frames barely held together that sag to... More

I am not a fancy traveler but the prices charged at this campground and the hygienic standards are very poor. We paid 103 $ a night for a tent, the beds are broken and the overall condition is seriously bad for the money. It's evident that none of the money goes into maintenance or upkeep. If this was a third... More

It was perfect for what we wanted out of our trip to St. John. We wanted to be away from the tourists and cruise ship people and this was the way to do it. We were not far from Cruz Bay with their restaurants/bars and such so we could easily have that, but at the end of the day, we... More

In some ways, I like to see the negative comments about CBC-it helps keep this beautiful place as it is. But, in other ways, it hurts me to read all of the bashing about this and that concerning the sites, the conditions and most of all the People that work there and do there best to maintain a "National Park"...
