I went to cinnamon bay last christmas and miss it everyday! If you are someone who hates bugs, can handle it if your hair isn't just right, or needs to check your email everyday don't bother even looking at this place. However, if you think the idea of falling asleep to the sound of peeper frogs, showering under the stars,... more

We unfortunately timed our vacation to coincide with a huge explosion in the mosquito population, which caused the Tree House restaurant to be closed to diners for our entire stay. The staff was gracious and did deliver food to the rooms, however. We had no problems with check-in, check-out, or getting any type of assistance. We stayed in 5B and... more

We stayed in cottage 8D for a couple days and it was nice - i agree with another post that we liked it but didn't love it. The cottage floors and group bathrooms were super dirty - but i went at the end of the season. Camping lovers will like it because it is relatively secluded with great trails and... more

We stayed a week in Cottage 5B in May, on our first trip to St. John. We will be back to visit Fabian, but will try a different place on our next trip. Check in was a breeze even though our flights were late. We arrived in the dark, in the rain, after a lonnnnggg travel day. The front desk... more

My husband and I have stayed at Cinnamon Bay campgrounds three times. We first camped with our own gear for a week during may. It rained every morning, but we were expecting it. Being the high season the camp was full to capacity and had to take a horrible site next to the drop off taxi stations. The past two... more

We stayed in cottage 9b for our trip. The room was a good size for two people. It included four twin beds (they pushed two together for us), sheets, pillows, two towels, pots, a frying pan, silverware, large water container, dish bin, can opener, spatula, camping style coffee maker, a small refrigerator, cooler, broom, propane grill (outside), charcoal grill, lock... more

What a great bay to camp at.Great swimming and snorkling too.I will say it is better to bring your own tent.you dont pay the extra room tax by doing this.If you choose the already set up canvas tents you pay the tax. also the canvass tents are all musty and have mosquitos in them.most have tarps over them because of... more

My husband and I stayed at Cinnamon Bay Campground from May 12th-23rd. We have just returned. I agree with all those who say that if you are a camper, you will be in paradise for sure, as we were. But I also want to encourage those who are not die-hard campers to give Cinnamon Bay a try. This is one... more

I had to convince my girlfriend that staying a few days in a campground with public bathrooms and cold showers would be fun, but we never looked back from the moment we got there. We met incredibly nice and fun people there and had a wonderful time. One of the best travel values I've ever experienced. If you can't handle... more
