We are senior campers but enjoyed the cabin. My son and family chose a tent and were disappointed. One must consider that you are supporting the park which apparently receives no federal subsidy. Lovely beach and swimming, perhaps the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen and photographed!

We spent 1 night at this campground and was very impressed by the surroundings. The grounds are clean and the cabins are big. Our cabin had 4 single beds which can be moved to make a bigger bed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The sounds of the waves crashing while you sleep is therapeutic but the sight of... More

Brief and direct: The staff was helpful and accommodating in every way. The facility was clean and tidy...beach amazing! However, camp store does not carry much in terms of supplies. What is available is very expensive. Hitchhike, because taxi fees can add up in costs. Insects were not a issue at this time nor was bad weather. Hiking trails require... More

We stay in the cabins for a couple of years now. We enjoy it greatly. It is not Maho! It does have some of the same visitors as Maho. So you may see familiar faces. Hint: Get food at the dock before going to Cinnamon. There is a store but it is limited. The Dolphin Market is close with lower... More

So I come to this site every so often to see what folks are saying about Cinnamon Bay, a place we have visited many times since 1979. There are a lot of complaints, some justified, many not. I usually just read a few, close the browser, and start thinking of our next trip down to St. John. But this one... More

We just returned from a week at Cinnamon Bay, staying both in the platform tents and the cottages. We found the tents clean, spacious and well provided with the basics needed to sleep, cook and eat. The cottages are clean and comfortable and now have refrigerators and coffee makers, as well as the propane stove and charcoal grill. We cooked... More

Great views, with a greaty beach. This cove has a fraction of the people on it compared to trunk bay, the snorkeling may not be as good...but, swim out to the island and you can see a lot of fish, rays and cuttlefish with no one around you. One final perk, no entrance fee, not that $4 is gonna kill... More

Cinnamon Beach is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The campground itself is quite nice. But our platform tent camping experience was very challenging. We've camped with our kids all over the US. The things that made it a challenge--platform tents are incredibly hot inside at night, even when there is a breeze it doesn't penetrate the tent. And you cannot keep... More

We loved Cinnamon Bay Campground! We stayed in a cabin that was just steps to the ocean. The cabin had electricity, fans, and a real bed with sheets. (blankets available at front desk). The bathroom facilities were very clean and showers cold. Not my favorite but we were camping. We noticed a lot of campers brought portable shower bags and heated... More

you are truly camping here. this is not a luxury place. once you know that, it's fine. I rented a tent there and they give you all you need plus linens. the tent is on a platform and i felt safe and protected. i would have loved a breeze, but alas no. so it was a humid time. the food... More
