We just spent one night at the hotel, it was a nice, inexpensive alternative. We wanted to be close to the shops, restaurants and be able to walk in downtown Cruz Bay. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in St. John for the beaches and snorkeling and other outdoor adventures. It does not have the luxury interiors or immaculate landscaping of a Caneel or Westin, but it will cost you hundreds less which you can use to rent your jeep or eat at some of the many great restuarants.... more

For 185 dollars a night, we got a 2 room prison cell basically. There were 4 windows, that were small and didn't properly open or close, and the screens were not sealed. 3 words, BLEACH, PAINT and some CAULK would go a long way.
