Position of hotel lovely, staff very attentive, food great, very clean, but all let done by children running up and down corridors at one o'clock in the morning, along with parents shouting after them - all in the clearly marked quiet zone. Also, temperature display unit kept clicking all night - faulty.

Two night stay, mostly fine, but had to change rooms after first night due to traffic noise, and an intermittent clicking from room thermostat that went on all night. Staff were accomodating and helpful. Restaurant was fine, and breakfast was very good. Would be nice to see a Welsh speciality, laverbread, on the breakfast menu though, as this breakfast could... Stayed for one night in feb as we were on a dark skies course near Brecon. Price wise you can't grumble, it does what it says on the tin. The premises are a little tired, but the room was clean, spacious and adequate for one night. There is plenty of parking on site. The receptionist was very helpful. Some of... More

Stayed for 1 night 15 February en route for St Brides Pembrokeshire. We paid just £29 for our room which was clean and functional with a very comfortable bed. There could have been more tea/coffee sachets in the room, but I believe more are available at reception. We had dinner and breakfast in the adjacent hotel and found the meals... More

This is one of their hotels yet to be revamped and, although it looks a little bit tired, there are positives which the newer Premier Inns lack and should take note of. E.g. heated towel rail so the bathroom is warm, proper shaver light, no trendy LED lighting so your eyes don't hurt when reading. Convenient for the A470, a... More

This is the second Premier Inn I've stayed at inside a month, after a long time away. I used to think that Premier Inns were towards the top end of the "budget" sector, but their typical prices also put them out of my budget. The recent 2 both offered more attractive rates, but this one really disappointed, and I came... More

Stayed for one night recently for a work trip really easy to find with an adjacent restaurant that serves good-quality pub food. Rooms a standard premiere in with small flat screen TVs went for a ground for room overlooking the rear of the hotel which was very quiet clean and spacious. Breakfast was okay served in the restaurant buffet style

Visited here late January with family, stayed for 2 nights. Rooms nice and clean and spacious and staff very friendly and attentive. Restaurant is table table which are all part of the same group I think. Food very good value and decent sized portions again staff very friendly. Overall a good weekend with great value for money...would visit again.

This premier Inn needs a complete refurbishment in my opinion. The rooms are old concept and tired. That said the shower was hot and the bed as always was very comfortable. Windows in my room (40) leaked. Dining was great and good value. I would stay here again, it's just that I use premier Inn all over the country and this... More
