I was a solo traveler and Sweet Plantations was a wonderful alyernative to the high priced resorts and time-shares. I stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time. As you know, renting a vehicle is an absolute must. Its the only way to have the freedom to explore the island. The rooms were neatly kept and simple. This hotel... more

I had a great time in St. John thanks to my stay at Sweet Plantain. The hosts, Prince and Rose were warm and friendly and gave me a woderful orientation of the island, including cool local beaches. There is a kayak rental really close and great kayaking in and around Coral Bay. It is located right along the $1 bus... more
