We stayed a week at Hakuna Matata in late July 2002 for a wedding, and I feel like I have truly been to paradise. This house was exquisite.
The wedding was performed on the balcony, and I don't think I will ever attend another wedding as beautiful as this one. It was hard choosing a bedroom because all of them were fabulous! All of them had wonderful views and their own outside showers! We chose one of the two upstairs bedrooms (not the master). It had its own porch with a swing on it! All of the bedrooms had a/c but we probably could have gotten by without it because the breezes were so wonderful. The great room was beautiful, but the only time we were in it was during the wedding reception because the band was on the veranda (our normal sitting area). We ate ALL of our meals on the veranda looking out over the water and the other islands. We also spent all of our "visiting time" out there.
