We stayed at this guest house with friends during a short driving break around Wales. We had a very friendly welcome. Our room was lovely and very clean and a decent size. Breakfast was freshly cooked and set us up nicely for a day travelling. All in all, a lovely place to stay and we would have no hesitation staying... More

Very friendly staff, our room was a nice size overlooking the Llwyn Onn reservoir, decent sized en-suite bathroom too. Breakfast offered was cereal, fruit juices, toast with various spreads, fresh fruit, full English fry up tea or coffee. The only down side to my stay here was the very poor Wifi strength.

I stay in lots of hotels in my job, this is excellent value for money a real gem set in the beautiful mountains of Brecon! A warm welcome is what you will get every time you come here from all the lovely ladies that work at Llwyn Onn Guest House! I found this hotel quite by chance while on a... More

We had a room in the annexe as my husband has a walking difficulty. The weather was cold during our stay, but our room was very warm and comfortable. Spotless bathroom, towels and bed linen. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Location close to many beautiful walks on the Brecon Beacons. What more could you ask for? And they even take... More

Clean, tidy and very well maintained. I often rate a hotel of the state of the bathroom, is there black mould hiding in the silicon. The bathroom here was spotless. The breakfast was first rate, offered all sorts and far more that I could eat, all freshly cooked to order. The reception was locked at 3:00pm, so we went off... More

The room was big, clean and nicely setout. We had a nice wee view of the reservoir from our bedroom window. The breakfast was good. Have to agree with another reviewer that check in time is a little bit late 5pm.

We chose this B and B as the advertisement suggested that the food was good and we would be able to get an evening meal. It also implied that the rooms would overlook the reservoir. We booked for three nights so that we could explore the area. What is not obvious in the photograph is that the building extends back... More

Although given a very good rating for this guest house, have to say we came away with mixed feelings. Having read other reviews I was not sure I had done the right thing in booking this as night away after visiting Penderyn Distillery! It did take a while to find Llwyn Onn but not as difficult as some others have... More

The Guest House itself ticked all the boxes. The room and en-suite bathroom were a good size. The room was well equipped and very clean. The bathroom was modern and functional. Tea & coffee making facilities were provided along with freeview TV. Breakfast was of good quality. Parking spaces were generously sized. Service was fine. On the downside, the location... More

The location of this guest house is ideal for seeing the hills. It was only a 10 min drive away though there isn't much else around, not that you'll notice as the Brecon Beacons park is so beautiful. But one word of advice be sure to have some cash as you'll be miles away from an ATM and most places... More
