3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Booked a spa day for my mothers birthday, through KGB deals. It was for two treatments, for tow, and use of the facilities. Booking was easy and the lady at the end of the phone was helpful. I also arranged for me to use the facilities, later that day, as I couldn't be there first thing. The hotel was easy... More

Not sure this was the same hotel that the good reviews are about. I was recommended by a friend who is a good judge normally but we found this a very uninspiring hotel. It started with our arrival at 10.30 - not really late for a hotel - but the main reception bizarrely positioned round the back was closed. Fortunately... More

Had a couple of nights here in July and had a fantastic time. Food was outstanding, service was fantastic, room was extremely clean and well presented. The Spa was also great for an enjoyable relaxing time. Some of the staff names that come to mind for special praise are Mary, Helen, Alice and Andrea, great characters, friendly and helpful! Would... Brilliant spa and pool. Lovely evening food and nice breakfast. Rooms lovely, nice views. Lovely way to celebrate our anniversary. Lovely relaxing surroundings - perfect way to chill for an evening away from home. Would definitely recommend it.

We booked a night in an executive suite.. we ended up in a lovely top floor suite with balcony which was amazing! However we paid £140 and would have possibly liked full breakfast included with this price! At first glance the facilities seemed good, however the pool and changing rooms needed a GOOD scrub and the jacuzzi was more like... More

Spent two nights here and have to day it is set in quite stunning scenery. The Brecon Beacons National Park was a very short drive away (or if you've the time a lovely walk away). The hotel itself looks lovely with very friendly capable staff. The however over rides everything it was absolutely out of this world.

We spent 2 nights at this fantastic lodge in the Brecon Beacons. On our arrival we were given a room that did not have a bath. This was quickly change with no fuss and a little price difference to a suite which was just what was required. The reception team were very good and knowledgable. The evening meal was superb... As a return visitor - am never disappointed by the Nant Ddu. Great location, food and swimming pool! Only slight criticism is that they need to update the wine list. However, the food is always really good - especially the steak!

This venue is sold as a high end hotel / spa with a history of good reviews. We found the 3 star rating to be somewhat of a push given the poor hygiene (particularly of the spa areas where the pool had not been cleaned in some time with a lot of hairs, plasters and dead flies floating on the...
